Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

LCQ+Worlds Updates

Gonna post my predictions here as well.

Top 4:

Dylan Bryan (Terrakion/Mewtwo) vs. Yuta (Darkrai/Mewtwo)

Stephen Tobaco (CMT) vs. Michael Pramawat (Darkrai)

Then I'm calling:

Pram vs. Dylan Bryan with Dylan Bryan sweeping his way through the tournament from the 16th seed.

Honestly, the kid plays straight Darkrai in T16, Darkrai/Mewtwo or Darkrai/Terrakion in T8, then he has a 50% chance to play a Darkrai based deck in T4 (he'd autolose to Accelgor if he played that but CMT is definitely doable, just difficult), and then a 7/8 chance to play a Darkrai or Eelektrik based deck in T2.

Really, you can't ask for much more. As long as he gets the good matchup in top 4, I say he wins.

Could happen last year the #16 seed was just a coin flip away from the worlds title.

They could not just let in one they would have had to let in 8 more like they did last year.

Which is exactly what they should have done. It's honestly ridiculous to have 127 players and have a Top 16. Let 8 more players in and have 135, 7 rounds, T32. Very disappointed and feel sorry for the Worlds competitors this year.

Honestly I think Pram, Sami and Harrison are playing the bdif imo (Speed Darkrai), I hope either Pram or Yuta takes it all because Yuta is awesome and so is Pram.

And so that it is not a repeat of my previous post if Dylan faces Pram in finals or whenever he is meant to face him possibly he is in trouble as Mewtwo/Terrakion has trouble with Darkrai t1 (goal of speed Darkrai) which happens quite often.

You have to also realize that only have 127 players gives a huge boost to those of us who want to earn an invite next year, as the kicker at 128 doesn't come into play. However, I do feel that all 5-2's or better should have made cut, even if that means having a T32.

The one thing I HATE about pokemon. Is that they always do it on tie break. Why can't pokemon just do whoever got 4-3+ Get a lower or same amount of packs? I understand supply matters but still.

There is no Pokemon Company Building in Wisconsin.

Really? Maybe it was Washington? But On the pokemon website it says Bellevue WA. So maybe 2013 Worlds will be there.

There has to be a tiebreaker, but CP shouldn't be reliant on it.

Bellevue, Washington.

AFAIK, there is no Stream, save finals. There were matches recorded yesterday, and I'd assume more today, but I don't believe there is a stream.

That would be much better than Hawaii, Europe or Vancouver xD but yeah, it's still WA.....

I'm sorry, but Hawaii trumps everything. I love Hawaii. I wish I was there right now, and if I wasn't redoing my bedroom, I would be. Hawaii is by far the best location they have, followed very closely by San Diego.

I will say that if it is Vancouver, which is what the rumor is, it to me is a poor location. I'm not sure that I like that choice at all.

Are they just playing Darkrai/Smeargle? I don't think that deck is very good. I was testing Dolezal'e list against Clifton (the 13th seed who is playing Accelgor) against his CMT, and he was crushing me every game in testing. I think these decks will drop quickly to all the CMT they'll have to play.

:/ Darkrai/Smeargle is what I've heard they are playing and that deck owns CMT due to Celebi having 60HP. Honestly it should demolish CMT. But we will see.

CMT runs Terrakion though, so it'll have no problems Retaliating Darkrais.

I was talking about travel expenses, WA is about half the price of Hawaii for me, and CA/Europe are out of country....

If I had the money then I'd like it to be in Hawaii every year :p but alas I don't :(

anyone know a place that costs more than hawaii?if so please tell me what is it.
chances are we might have worlds there next year if we are "lucky".
and then worlds will only be 2 days.
semi srs post

jmho though.

I think it would be nice to have it at the TPCI building. Cause then you can see the machines that make the cards and how they make them. And maybe you can spot a Base Set Pre release Raichu.
