Tough deck to play correctly, but does give a great chance to win.

It was funny though seeing the "SECRET DECK" being played by at least 6 people at MO states

The deck does have some weaknesses, but the truly weird match is the mirror....in MO states semifinals it was Illinois vs Tennessee....The advantage went to Illinios...Hard to win with Holon Castform start in sudden death.

yea....u r right,
i felt bad beating her in sudden death with the castform start,
but hey! in the second game she beat me with a castform start
so it aint impossible, especially when your opponent cant draw
an energy:wink:
still very good job Taylor im sure you had no idea how to beat the
mirror but i on the other hand couldnt sleep the night before thinking about
it.....lol
it probably wouldve been me and you in the finals if we didnt have to play
eachother in top4.......

i had no clue wut to do when i first built it for like the first week and a half.....
she got it down REALLY REALLY good in 5days!!!

hmmm seeing as how its a mirror match with destiny vs destiny i dont see stantler really becoming all that useful. As seeing how you cant confuse the pokemon when there are no evolution cards in the deck.

Adam Maldanado came up with the original concept. I took that concept and worked it up to its current list. We, along with several others tested each matchup on a relentless basis to get it ready for states.

Lafonte dismissed Adams original idea of the deck as it was really shaky. With the additions it has now, It really gives you an oppritunity to OUTPLAY just about any deck.

Just like any other deck, It has its weekness. I just havent been able to find a consistant weekness. Its worst matchup is about 50-50 as it has NO auto losses. What more could you ask for?

it hasa zFlygod auto loss. all the tech in that deck is basic. , and therefore will be OHKOed by flygon after taking some sand damage.

Soles went 2-0 against Flygon...

Do you reall think the "sd" would be a deck with an autoloss to the most popular deck in the format? They tested the *** out this matchup...Cessation Crystal/Stantler pwns it. Latios ex d pwns it. Ray ex d pwns it. Lickitun pwns it...
 
all coments are very nice, but only see pure blabla, i don't see how work the deck or i don't see any Stantler deck variant winning a CC or SC
 
lol thats probably because about 4 people who had the new list played the new list...and it won 2 states in 2 days and in one of them it had 4 spots out of T8, so good job.

Im SICK of people talking about the deck without knowing or testing the list, you want some real results check my sig and have fun in ohio/hawaii...

Yeah...bad deck...probably will not make an impact at all....:eek:

Missouri--Masters--2 of them in top 4, 3 in top 8....probably a bad field (Adam, Bigunz, David Coates,
Chuck, Ness, Newman, Collin Moll et al)
Seniors-- 2 of them in top 4...1 made it to finals...again, probably a bad field (only 6 of the
current top 40 seniors playing)
 
one should not judge how well a deck works until they play it
i have people telling me my armaldo ex deck is bad
then they play it, and discover t2 100 isnt quite as bad as they thought

t2 100 seems like t2 50 too much. And vs. castform, 150 too much? Could be nice against the occasional Mew EX deck though.
 
The list is so weird. You guys wouldn't like it if you saw it, but it is very very, Very consistant.
