For Seniors: Christian N. from Asker in Norway should have made it.
He just had to much training and stuff all season, so he got to play almost no tournaments. then he proceeded to get d0nked in T16 of nats.

BS, Keith in PMs you told me that the head judge said to set up for game 3 after Angela "won" on time in game 2. THE HEAD JUDGE, are you kidding me? Then you tried to blame it on Angela saying that it was announced that it didn't matter if time was called the game had to be played out. I feel you are anti MW or something, by doing this and twice now you have tried to blame James F. about the Niles situation which doesn't even concern you. Regardless it doesn't matter know so let's just drop it, what done is done.

The main issue right now is James F. situation.

It is not BS and I didnt tell you wrong. When time was called, they were in game 2. If I recall, it was the last match left in that rd of top cut. So, we had the judge that was assigned to that area nearby, I walked over and HJ walked over. We checked to see whose turn it was...it was Angela's. Prizes were tied at that time, either 3-3 or 2-2 (doesnt matter). Angela finished her turn, KO'ing the oppo's active, going up 1 prize in count, but not her last prize or a benching. The HJ did say, "Ok, you win game 2, set up for SD game 3". Right after this is when we, as a judging team, corrected the situation bc you cannot win an incompleted game 2 on time in top cut. Everyone can agree on that issue, I hope. So, there is nothing to blame on either player, it was a completed match, on time, 1-0 for Miranda. Where did I blame Angela for anything?

On James' issue w/ Niles, before he posted that there was only 1 sheet posted, no ages and no player roster before the tourney, yes, I said it is the player's responsibility to make sure there aren't errors on the list. BUT, when the STAFF makes an error, never posts a player roster w/ ages and never posts an age seperated rankings list during the tourney (all 3 being major errors by the staff btw....I NEVER run a tourney that way, in fact, all the prior rds results stay posted until end of tourney) that makes my answer different. Remember, I asked James about those lists. When he replied there was none, then I shifted the blame, bc that would be the correct line.

I am not anti MW, heck I am from Indiana to begin with. I am against players whose attitudes are too big for their britches though. Gotta respect the staff. You may not always agree with them, but please show us where "we" erred? The rules were followed and the correct ruling made. If I were to go back and uphold Angela's "allegation" of cheating with the RCs, what should I go back and punish you and her brother for when you gave her signals???

Your not making any sense Keith.

Game 2 was in progress.
Angela goes ahead in prizes.
HJ gives the "win" to Angela and say "set up for game 3".
So both players "scoop up" their cards in setting up for game 3.
You guys say "wait you can't win".
Angela's opponent is given the win with 1-0, instead of 2-0 or 2-1.

Do you not see the MISTAKE? If the HJ doesn't give the "win" to Angela then game 2 is played out. Even if Angela's opponent ends up winning the game, it would have been better then just giving her opponent the win by 1-0 on the HJ's MISTAKE.

Drop it Keith, YOU HAVE NO ARGUMENT.

Not trying to be rude by jumping into the middle of this argument, but isn't it standard tournament procedure that any top cut matches that have time called during the second game end instantly with the win being awarded to whoever won the first game?

Christian: My last post on this issue bc YOU have no argument....heck you werent even a player involved in this match. TIME had been called....end of 1 hr. It does not matter on game 2...it would not have been played out at all! Just as Waliken said....if you cannot win the game 2 by taking last prize on the turn time is called OR benching the oppo., that game does not count. Understand? Yes, an error was made initially by HJ which was corrected before game 3 ever got set up. Even with the HJ saying, "you win game 2 on prizes" ...No player can win an INCOMPLETE game 2 on TIME in topcut.

I mean, you do agree that time was called in game 2 and Angela hadnt taken all her prizes OR benched her oppo., right??? If we all agree on that scenario (which IS what happened)....it doesnt matter what the HJ said then...the game is incomplete and doesn't count. The winner of game 1 wins the match.

Keith

alright, you had not COMPLETELY cleared that up. The fact that a game 2 doesn't count what so ever if it's not finished on time. Thanks as it could come up again in my own games.

Kyle Sablehaus should be in =/

He had the game 100 percent in round 9 of swiss. I had a good 15 cards left in my deck and at most I could scientist for 1 or 2. So I had that very slim chance of pulling my giant stump to save my Latios EX and Ray EX from getting KOed but even if I had lucksacked there, it would have only prolonged the inevitable. And I think he would've made it a lot further in top cut than I did. Amazing player, amazing deck. I'm sorry my play slowed down those last couple of turns, time was the last thing on my mind in a nailbiter situation like that. I was just trying to figure out a way to not lose next turn. I don't want to win my games that way. In retrospect, if I could go back and concede round 9, I would in a second. I felt sick to my stomach after that game.

My 1st vote goes for Brian Jessing aka 13th in North America in the Masters division. Hes tried to get to worlds every year since 2004. Hes gotten so close each year. Last year he was an lcq participant who went 7-2 and missed top 8 by 5/8 spots. This year he was 13th in North America 6 points behind Gino R. who was 12th in North America aka me and got the last invite via premier rating. He gets better and better each year it wont be long before he plays in what hes worked so hard for The World Championship!

My 2nd vote goes toward Mikey Fouchet from the Masters division who has rocked the scene since I met the kidd. Hes been in Worlds 04,05, and 06 top 32'ing all 3 times I believe. His brothers have been in worlds just as much as he has as well. This was the first year he has faced lots of 2nd places and made all top cuts. It was a very off season for him but next season he will probably spark everything back up.

Between those two players and the 07-08 season approaching in the fall this will be a very interesting new season.

I would love to say Me, however that wouldnt be at all true. I do feel that there are a bunch of players that got "shafted" by the new system.

However, I feel Tom D. is the best player who didnt make it in Masters. 2nd US Nats/4th US Nats/T16 Worlds and I most likely forgot a few things. But that is my choice.

Ok I haven't been online awhile but...

Guero:
Ok idk what this bs w/ hand signal stuff is, the judge gave the game to Angela and I told my sister it was sudden death, she gave me a thumbs up and me and Chris went to the bubler(behind the pillar) where I looked back and I believe thats where this stupid hiding garbage is coming from.I wasn't giving her hand signals nor was I hiding behind the wall. And btw my sister isn't deaf, she don't know sign language.

Also about this rare candy ruling, Angela checks Miranda's discard pile, there were 4 rare candies in her discard pile, she checks the next turn and there is only 1 rare candy in her discard pile and what does she magically pull to candy into a flygon?A rare candy. My sister calls the judge over and all the judge says is "we cannot retrace the move, it is already done with" and "there is nothing we can do about it". Miranda even said she had 4 candies in her discard pile. Now idk if the candies shuffled into the deck was a mistake or not but that is a serious matter and you would expect the player who made the mistake to be an honest person and tell the judge but in this case, that person didn't.

Pichu bros.:Idk why everyone is always hatin on my sister.Maybe because she is a girl?Probly. I know little boys think girls are icky.

Politoed:Stop having sour grapes. I watched my sister play for like 5 mins. I didn't do anything to cheat and Angela beat Jeremiah fair.

And about the WI states, we got there 10 mins befor deadline and my sister switched decks last minute and cards spilt all over the table and floor. My mom was helping Angela re sleeve not me and she doesn't know a thing about pkmn. They counted 60, did a deck check and turned it in.Nothing was wrong until they counted again. That isn't my fault or Angelas, it is the deck checkers.

So all you guys can ruin reps all you want because me or my sis don't believe in cheating and will never stoop down to that level, we have a moral.I'll probly be seeing alot of dirty looks but w/e I know whats true and that is all that matters.

lol, no, I dont have sour grapes... lol, my friend wouldnt have won anyway, he doesnt really know what hes doing, but hey, hes six XD

good to see Woods POV tho, and not POVs from peps who werent involved :thumb:

but he didnt say nething bout bullying that 10 yr old :nonono:

Me and James F. have decided we're going to take 1st and 2nd in the grinder and then play in the finals of worlds. Is that okay w/ u guys?

That'll make HISTORY......

In other words back to the topic

so many choice ugg...
I don't know the juniors very well or who got in the masters. For seniors, there are WAY too many to choose just one
:p James F. is good but so many other good players did not mke it.

soooooo true:cool:

While I'm with you that the deck checkers messed up on 61 cards, I'm sure you're gonna have Lawman come and tell you that the deck is the players responsbility to have the right contents in their deck throughout the whole tournament. So next time at a tournament, have her count her cards in her deck after her match to avoid another situation like that.

And about RC's coming out of the discard, I once had a situation at the good ole 2001 STS where I had setup before my opponent and he goes to place his prizes and his hand drags his whole deck spilling over my play area, and we're both playing with green sleeves and then I have to reshuffle b/c I had my hand down to and it is irreversable, but a judge never came so me being what like 7 or 8 doesn't know to call for a judge until after the tournament so I'm not rude to my opponent, much more mannered then than now:lol::thumb:, So after my first set-up being godly for my deck, I restart, draw crap and then lose.

It's not quite the same but relative.

Wow. I didn't bully a 10 year old.I came to her asked her if she knew anything about the rare candy situation and she gave me this story that fits nothing with my sisters. I kindly asked if she could go to the judges to hear her side of the story. She says no.So then I leave. Is that bullying? You don't even know anything politoed so get out of this.

Btw Jeremiah isnt 6.I have 8 younger siblings and I have tried teaching them pkmn and it is almost impossible to teach until they're 8. 6 year olds cannot do hard mathematical equations or read to the extent you need to to play. Do a test and have a 6 year old kid read a card to you or do multiplication or addition problem like 40X2 or 30+20. He wont be able to do it by himself. You know lying about age is like cheating right?

 actually he is six... I kinda would know...

edit: wait, he turned seven a month ago XD

I dont think you'd know how old he is, or how smart he is... He can read, learn rules really fast, and he can add... lol
He plays like three card games:
Pokemon
Naruto
and Dragonball Z - one of the most complicated TCGs ever

So true, first he said this:

Well I was involved as much as Wood811. As I help them playtest, take them to tournies, help with deck, etc. So it was almost as important to me as it was to him to get involved.

Politoed Ex your the one who has absolutely nothing to this with this situation, so why don't you mind your own business, gg sir.

ANYWAYS ^^^^^^^^^^^^^
ON TOPIC HERE..............

since all the good seniors who didnt get a trip viz rankings, or other "mistakes":nonono: are all playing in the grinder....

this SHOULD be a pre worlds tourney.......lol
cuz this grinder is fitta be EXACTLY like a reg worlds tourney and top4 get to continue to the next day and so, for the top4 in the grinder im pretty sure it will turn into a 3day tourney for them.....which would be KOOOOOOOOOOOOOL:thumb:

were gonna :pokeball: it up !!!!
