My friend Christian L. is 16th in seniors and 3 people who are in top 12 made top 4 at nats so I think he will be on the bubble which really stinks!

Other than that I will nominate Kyle S. in masters because he is an amazing player and I think if he would have been in FL for Battle Roads he would definately got a trip.

It disappoints me when players such as James and Angela have to suffer because of error, its a serious issue and I would hope that the people involved would please discuss it with the other party, at least trying to show that they care!!

It should also be considered that this is not the first time that there is controversy with Angela. There was the 61 card deck found in the the T2 deck check for WI states...and that was only a warning. In addition she did sit out one of the biggest Battleroad in Rockford.

This is not the first time she had "issues" or made errors. So it is not just a one time thing and should not be portrayed as such.

I am not saying that is intentional, but I dont think that top players consistently end up with controversial calls and games.

Finally I get to post!!! Anyway my personal opinion on this issue is that if there were any three individuals that I felt who deserve to seriously go to worlds this year would be the following
1) James F. 2) Angela W. 3) Kyle (Pooka)

This players have displayed such a great deal of sportsmanship and have worked so hard to get to where they are today. James and Angela have both experienced such horrible incidents that may have had caused them to lose their chance to enter into this amazing tournament and I cannot really understand why certain individuals take up the responsiblity and work on something to make amends. These incidents were completely out of their control because players can only do so much until the judges step in. Angela's brother personally told me what had happened and I think that in her case, the judges should have handled it better.

Wow, standard floor rules an error. Incomplete games don't count. On a side note, you are from Wisconsin. Talk about HOMER backing.

you talk about him bullying a 10 year old girl, and then say he was lucky to leave when he did come on man. The "signals" she was getting were both from her brother and me letting her know sudden death is only 1 prize. Which she nodded and gave a gesture saying she already knew.

Oh yeah, you and her brother did run behind the pillar to hide from the HJ when we called him over. Thanks for pointing out that you and him were signaling her for what ever purpose.:thumb:

GUERO, I think I'm gonna back u... At Regionals a few month ago, Angela was playing a friend of mine in the Juniors division during a top cut match, and I noticed her brother was ALWAYS standing behind my friend while they were playing... Everytime I see his sister playing someone, I see her brother standing behind her opponent, yeah, it could be nothing, but I think it could be something...

and people, please, stop saying an "error" is why Angela didnt make it... She lost... It was her own fault... Or maybe it was her brothers fault for giving her a wrong signal... jk jk

u know as they say tho,

Innocent Until Proven Guilty :thumb:

i don't run from anything, i was even going to confront you about it but was sick and tired of the whole situation. Maybe next time we see each other you can talk to me instead of trying to "punk" some 15 year.:thumb:

LOOK FOR ME!!!

You're from Texas. Talk about HOMER backing!

I know chris cobi enough that he would not hide behind a pillar. Was there even pillars there? Cause I'm sure I probably would've crashed into one...

This is just your story and I want to hear about Wood811's side of the story and 'Snores view of it all.

Since i cannot comment on the World, i'd have to go with the Master ranked 13th in NA......

This Judge in JRs from Tennessee can tell you there was no error made. The correct player won the match. Allegations are merely that.....allegations. Allegations w/o proof turn into the she said/she said posts. I dont know what happened after the round with or without people hiding.

Keith

For seniors I'll go with Wes, and James probably.

Juniors is def Henry l, most people don't know him but he's sick good, def as good as most masters, he just got stalled out bad in t32 and the judge ignored him. =//

masters idk too tough to choose

BS, Keith in PMs you told me that the head judge said to set up for game 3 after Angela "won" on time in game 2. THE HEAD JUDGE, are you kidding me? Then you tried to blame it on Angela saying that it was announced that it didn't matter if time was called the game had to be played out. I feel you are anti MW or something, by doing this and twice now you have tried to blame James F. about the Niles situation which doesn't even concern you. Regardless it doesn't matter know so let's just drop it, what done is done.

The main issue right now is James F. situation.

...and yea when we were playing in the hotel l8er that night on sunday i think.......
we were playing against Daniel Rattray and she beat him with metanite and daniel was using INFERNAPE, now i could be wrong from this but a lot of people say infernape is posed to POWN metanite.......she is a great player...

Actually, she lost both games -- although a bad start (for Ape) made the second one very close. At that time of morning though, who knows, we both probably made a few misplays.

That was a fun night.

From what I've heard, you are going to try to "grind in" at Worlds, so I guess I'll see you there. You're a nice person, and an awesome player. I hope you make it. Good luck.

o my bad, everyone who was up there after i went and played some fl people said that she beat you so i assumed she did, cuz thats what everyone said, so MY BAD, but bieleve me if u werent playing a autoloss to metanite she woulda pownded on your head, with no regard.......lol, , and YES i AM grinding in at worlds, see you there:wink:

My vote is for Dylan T. of St. Louis 1.) becuase he is my son and I am very proud of him. 2.) Because he plays in a gym that boasted more junnors in the top 100 than any other state to include 3 invites to worlds(not metion #1!! Andrew K. for Pres.) As high as 16th in the STUPID rankings he fought a very long and hard season and ran out of steam at the end. Taylor M. is another great player who energy and brightness fill everyone in her divsion with SOG. Good luck to those who did make it and good luck next season to those who didn't. Knowing the gym leader in our area and the kids in his stable you will see many more on the worlds list next year.:thumb:

In St. Louis there were a pile of Juniors who were Worlds worthy...

Dylan T (went up to MI and IN and stood with the big boys), Gavin L (#33 at Nats...AZ Regional Champ), Alex K (ask Nats#2 about him!!!, #2 OK State, T4 Regioal), Jill D (T8 Regional+++), and a few others...

Under the 2005 or 2004 system, I am confident we would have gotten 6 or 7 Juniors to Worlds, as well as a few Seniors.

For the Seniors, I also have to mention Joe C...out of Eureka...he stood toe to toe with James F, Zak K and others through the big events of the season, and had a "disappointing" Nats at 5-3 to knock him out.

This was a wild year, with wild rides.

yes I lost both games, but they were very close (might have one one if my last beldum wasn't prized)
see you at the grinder
In other words back to the topic

so many choice ugg...
I don't know the juniors very well or who got in the masters. For seniors, there are WAY too many to choose just one :p James F. is good but so many other good players did not mke it.

Me and James F. have decided we're going to take 1st and 2nd in the grinder and then play in the finals of worlds. Is that okay w/ u guys?
