PokeRadar shinies! Best method ever!

Back from Worlds with a shiny Pachi thanks to my boy Leo (Pablo, you're SOOOOO suspended). Also got a shiny Weavile thanks to Mr. Ultimatedra. My daughter was most pleased. Now... who has a shiny Wobby for me?

Urgh it never seems to go right for me... I can't get chains past 30 and I never seem to be seeing any shineys...

I lucksacked a Lv.66 Bronzong the other day which is pretty cool though.

Well for me it sparkled in the corner. I knew I shouldn't have gone to it but I did anyways. Whatever. But by the way, any advice chaining Beldum? The sandstorm makes it so hard to see the grass. I always step on something I never saw move.

As a person who never got more than a 6 chain (or is it 8, I forget) on a Beldum run, I can say you still have the chance at getting a shiny one. I did, my Adamant, somewhat well-IVed Metagross can attest to that. Just hope the swarm doesn't end first. :D

I just cught a Shiny Ralts today at lucky #7. Since it's female, I'm putting it up for trade. (Click the link in my sig)

Question, now... I know this is a bit off-topic, and the improbability of it naturally happening, given... well, the slow encounter rates of catchable Pokemon in the game... are shiny Pokemon obtainable in XD or Colosseum? Pretty sure it's a solid no...

Yes you can find shining in the XD and Colosseum. The way i understand it, the ones you snag are just like wild Pokemon. The stats and everything else varies from each time you battle the Trainer.

I've never heard of anyone catching a shiny Pokemon on XD or Colloseum but it is apparently possible.

I've only gotten 4 new shinies in a month, due to lack of time. 2x Spoink (at Worlds) and 2x Hoppips, which I wanted to get 3 of but I took a wrong step because I was not paying attention. The first shiny patch took THREE hours of ressetting, so I was very tired then.

My targets (whenever I get some spare time) include:

At least 1 of every Swarmable Pokemon, except maybe Swinub and Beldum =P
Dusknoir family
Togekiss family

I'm having a hard time chining pokemon in Route 228. The sandstorm makes it hard for me to tell which patches are shaking. :(
The Blizzard in Route 216 is also quite an interfearance as well. I'm having a hard time chaining Sneasels and Snovers.

It's really a nightmare. I ran out of batteries trying on my Pearl version trying to catch Beldum during a chain, and managed to do it on my Diamond after a long time and a 6-chain.

*curses that the trainer names aren't the same on my team*

Ah well. I'm just happy I caught it, it Synchronized to the right nature... and it had damn good IVs too.

Try chaining Snovers in the area right before the entrance to the Snow Lake, that is where I succesfully chained 40 Snovers and got a shiny one, it was hard but a technique I used was tilting my DS's screen a bit, so that the hail pretty much disappeared. Also chain Sneasels in the Snow LAke grass patch, they are common there and there is no hail to block your vision.
