PokeRadar shinies! Best method ever!

Is there a pokemon that's considered easiest to chain? I noticed Pachirisu seems to be a popular choice, but a terribly difficult one. So, is there an easy pokemon to obtain this way so guys just starting out like me can have a little more faith in themselves? I've wasted countless hours on pachirisu and gave up on the radar LONG ago. :(

Try having a pokemon with Static ability in the lead position of your team. That's how I caught my Shiny Pachirisu. Magnet pull helps for having chains of steel types last longer as well. Swarm pokemon are very common, so they're easy to chain, as long as you pay attention to which patches are shaking.

[R]Visitor - try chaining Shinx's at night with a Static ability Pokemon in your first slot of your party in the big grass patch of Route 201. That was my first PokeRadar shiny, and it helped me practice, took me like 5-6 tries but I finally mastered it and now I can pull it off with pretty much any Pokemon. My PokeRadar shiny count is up to 60 atm.

Cyber - tilting does work in the passive sandstorm area, below stark mountain, but I haven't been able to chain a shiny there, chains keep breaking even though I follow all the rules. I really want a shiny Relaxed (or whatever -Speed + Sp. Attack is) Camerupt for my Trick Room team.

Uh... wrong place, Pablo. I was talking about the Sandstorm route North of the Resort Area. The route below Stark Mountain just has ash snowing. I meant for chaining pokemon like Trapinch, Cacnea, and Beldum. Those are different and if you ask me, it's harder to see thorugh the sandstorm than it is through the ash. And it's Quiet Nature that's +Sp Att -Spd.

I'm having a hard time chining pokemon in Route 228. The sandstorm makes it hard for me to tell which patches are shaking. :(
The Blizzard in Route 216 is also quite an interfearance as well. I'm having a hard time chaining Sneasels and Snovers.

Heres a tip for that, I believe there is a patch of grass near the temple of one of the psychic legengarys. Find the patch of grass where you can capture a swarm of smoochum. There are sneasals in those patches. Thats how I got my Sneasal* on the 3rd patch of grass:biggrin:

My targets (whenever I get some spare time) include:

At least 1 of every Swarmable Pokemon, except maybe Swinub and Beldum =P
Dusknoir family
Togekiss family

I can trade you a cloned, but legit shiny Togepi hatched in Emerald. For a shiny Eevee or Gastly.

Shinies evolve into shinies.
The chance of breeding a shiny is the same chance as encountering a shiny (without the radar)

I dont't see how personality has anythig to do w/the "numbers."
He specifically mentioned it was Bold. He was thus referring to the chances of a Bold and Shiny, which is 1/8192 * 1/25.

EDIT: Unless it was Synchronized, then (1/8192) * (1/2).

2 days of chaining and still no luck. I am trying for Shinx, but keep finding stupid ralts after like 25 in a row. I'll keep trying as time permits. Strange, I have 9 shinies that weren't chained (nor sharked, on R/S/E and FR/LG) but none on D/P after 2 days of chaining and 200 hours of playtime/hunting, the irony, LOL.
