Well considering how much Gino seemed hard up for cash that weekend, I'm not surprised that he'd steal a laptop for cash. The second the pokemon store closed permanently Gino was trying to fence everything he bought there over the weekend at markup in the open play area.
I have plenty of anime sleeves that I would love to use in pokemon. But I'm basically limited to non-sanctioned events, so they go to my unlimited decks and local random format tournaments.
What I find interesting that if James was the thief in the first place, why didn't that come up months ago? Gino's telling us he knew who the thief was, and he didn't rat him out even though revealing the real thief would absolve him in the first place?
I'm not sure about justice, but hopefully with James' post we can get past the whole, "did Gino do it" schtick that I'm sick of seeing and we can maybe coerce Gino to return the laptop, or the monetary value thereof. And Otaku, if I were defensive counsel for a criminal case, I'd totally want...
Doesn't seem to be like that from my end. It's more of a people who love gino vs. people who can't stand gino type of line. Has nothing to do with their respective cliques.
A bit of both, as pokepop said, they're not going to determine the extent of the cheat and how much it would affect the game. There's not a difference between cheating for minor advantage and cheating for major advantage. Either way you need to enforce the rules of the game.
