New questions are in the hopper...

One of the top-secret questions said:
Q. Your opponent plays Yu-Gi-Oh!. Should you;

a) Laugh your head off,
b) Tell them to play their Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon on your Lit Candle,
c) Invade Poland
d) Notify the TO so he can owndizzle their shizzle, or
e) All of the above.

Finally passed mine. 35/40. A lot of the questions are way too old. After playing for less than a year, a lot of the stuff i didn't even get because I'd never seen the cards or played in that format before.

That's why the card text is there.

well, right, i understand that. But you definately get a better feel for cards you have seen and/or played before. If they would update the questions to cover the new modified format, I think it would be a lot easier. But that is just my opinion.

I passed back in early November with 36 out of 40. One of the questions that was marked wrong I actually had correct though. It was about what happens when you move a DRE to a basic. I sent an e-mail and recieved a responce that they will be correcting the question. Has anyone seen this question on thier test?

Actually I have come across that question a couple of times in my tests. I went through my share of failures before passing.

I got a 33/40.

One of the questions I read wrong. I accidentaly picked the opposite of what I wanted to choose.

I hadn't realised my professorship was running out when POP emailed a reminder.

34. Ew. More work required

*looks through wrong answers* I can't believe I got that one wrong... I play Flariados, and Jirachi DX all the time :O

Passed

I took the test today and passed with 37 out of 40. I thought this test was easier than the last time I took it. I think it was just that I had played pokemon another year and was more familiar with the cards and the game itself.

Didnt do to good. Most of my bad questions where in the rules section. I only missed 6 on the playing situations and 10 on the rules and stuff. Dont judge much so Im prob gonna have to read them toruney rules and stuff for my next try

Failed my test, won't say how many I missed but I will say that either I'm misunderstanding the rulings as listed in the Compendium, or some test answers are wrong. That is beside the point, as I can take the test again before my professorship expires; however, I have already been notified that all prof point orders that I have pending have already been canceled because I failed the test, even tho I can retake it before it expires.

So I have now lost over 100 points that I should still be able to use.

You're misunderstanding this a little. Professor orders are processed at the beginning of every month for the previous month. Because you don't expire until 3/9/07, you can still place an order for February and get whatever you want (that you have points for). Any points you've got left over after placing your February order are the issue.

If you pass the exam again before 3/9/07, you've got nothing to worry about.

If you do not pass the exam before 3/9/07, any items that you've ordered during the month of March will be removed from your order and replaced with POP packs. If you do pass the exam before 4/1/07, you can go in and edit the order, removing the POP packs and saving your points. If you DO NOT pass the exam before 4/1/07, all of your remaining points will be "cashed out" for POP packs.

I hope that clears things up a little.

If you're still concerned, feel free to forward the expiration email that you received to [email protected] and I'll take a look at it to make sure that everything is in order.

okay. I just got I little worried as I had put a professor order in the other day, then was very distracted taking the test, so I failed (stoopid me  ), then got the email stating my orders were voided out. I already forwarded the email, so I guess we'll just see what happens. :thumb:

reminder: when taking a timed test, do NOT allow pets in the room who like to knock stuff down.

edit: this was the email:
We regret to inform you that you have answered less than 80% of the questions on the Professor Exam correctly. Your membership to the Professor Program will expire on 3/9/2007.

Any unfulfilled Professor Rewards orders have been canceled. All outstanding credits will be automatically redeemed for the most current Pokémon TCG boosters in the Professor Rewards store, these will be shipped at the beginning of the month following your expiration.

Yeah, because it's an automated email, it's not as smart as it should be. You don't have anything to worry about in regards to your February order.

The questions are luck, maybe are easy are maybe difficult i get 39/40 in my last test, because i know all the answers, but maybe the questions are very difficult and all knows that. But the questions are more difficult if you not pass the exam in the last test.
