Now that I think about it, the only thing that makes this better are decks that run Spiritomb. I'm looking at you, Obama and Giratina.

Deal ten to anything by using Crobat G's as much as possible, Poketurn them if you must... Then play down Spiritomb. With three Crobat G's and three Poketurns, you can spread twenty to each of your opponent's Pokemon (assuming they have a full bench), then SSU to get the Spiritomb back and repeat the process. Granted, it'll take up a lot of space, but it makes good Palkia G fodder.

Crobat G is one of the best cards in format by far.

Its Jolteon* but better. Look at how Jolteon* helped people win decks and imagine what Crobat G can do to decks. What makes Crobat G better than Jolteon* is you choose the pokemon to add the damage counter to (Jolteon* only did it to the active) and unlike Jolteon* you dont have to put a damage counter on your active pokemon.

Not to mention that its a searchable PlusPower or a searchable KO (seeing as more than than none you are always 10 HP away from KO'ing something and they just retreat it so it lives).

It fits into any deck even if its just 1. Not to mention that with Poke-Turn (Crobat G's Brineys lol) you can easily pick him up to use again or to free bench space. Also Cryus's Conspiracy helps get poke-turn so its not hard to get it off the bench to use again or to free up space.

Crobat G also has free retreat which is amazing of course. Its attack isnt good but who is truely every going to attack with this card?

Overall, Crobat G is just one card you CANNOT overlook as i believe it will see A LOT of play.

10/10 EASILY.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

You need 2 pokeblower to bring up something (and must be used at the same time). 1 Pokeblower is 1 damage counter IF heads so by far Crobat G is A LOT better as it gives you 3 free spots compared to pokeblower (cuz if ur gunna run pokeblower you might as well run 4 and with Crobat G you just need to tech in 1 which leaves you those 3 free sports)

Crobat G (like i mentioned) is only used for its body and not to attack with. so yes its attack stinks but thats not the point of the card

I guess its power is decent then but still There are other cards which never where as popular like Zapdos MD I never played because of the flip but it can do 6 Times as much as Crobat so on average if you play two on the field you will get one heads, Dont get me wrong its a very decent card but I just think its Over rated, Well thats my opinion any way.

This card is good, but Poke Turn makes it great.

Crobat G in a G deck with G support = 9/10

Crobat G in a deck like Amphytric where putting 10 on a certain Pokemon is a key part of the strategy = 8/10

Crobat G in general spread decks = 7/10

Crobat G as a random PlusPower Pokemon = 6/10

I don't see Crobat being as useful. Pokemon do 60-70 damage on average now, and HPs are 110-130 on average. Many of the decks that max out at 60 damage, run plus power, or have ways to snipe the bench (kingdra). Any deck that does 70 on average two-hit KOs pokemon in two shots anyways. Anyone doing 80-90 isn't affected by an extra 10 damage either. The extra 10 damge only makes a difference for 2 damage amounts, 50-60, and 110-120. Those two amounts are right on the line of two-hit KOs and one-hit KOs. So many decks don't fit into those areas, and thus I don't feel Crobat is that useful.

I can see it's use in G decks that can abuse PokeTurn, but any other deck? What's the use? The cases where you need to deal 10 extra damage once per game are very rare. If your not running SSU, Crobat takes up a space on the field in a format that is affected by Dusknoir and possibly Palkia G lv.X.

There is absolutely no flaw with Crobat G. It has good hp, free retreat, AMAZING pokepower, and can be poketurn'd. It auto-locks with an Amhphy out. It'll replace Spiritomb in a number of decks. Overall, Crobat G is one of the best cards in the game!

12/10!!

Someone beat me to it. Naki's right, it will never replace Spiritomb. There's a greater likelihood of Zapdos replacing Spiritomb.

Well, Naki... I think it depends on what you are doing. In general spread decks, Spiritomb is obviously better. In G decks or Ampharos, Crobat wins by a mile. You can lay Crobat G down to put a counter on a Baltoy before it is a Claydol, and in G decks it just gets the SP engine benefits.

there's a reason no one runs zapdos MD outside of unlimited:

crobat = no flips AT ALL
Zapdos: you don't get 100% heads by playing 2. you only have a 75% chance. and you would have to play AT LEAST 2. which is 1 less card slot you have then if youplayed 1 crobat. It also takes up twice, if not more, bench room, according to your theory. Not a bad card to play if your name is Luke Reed, but the common player won't be getting 100% head flips. =/
1 tails = 50%
2 tails =25%
3 tails = 12.5%

Crobat: can be used with SP engine, FREE RETREAT, possibly usable attack (2 energy)
Zapdos: doesn't combo with anything, 2 retreat cost, 3 energy attack = impossible to attack with (its a terrible attack anyways)

The card is amazing. A definite kick up from jolteon* (unless you wanted the damage counter i.e. gyrados MT) because of higher hp and free retreat

10/10

I agree full heartedly, but most decks that can run Crobat can also run Spiritomb. A lot of spread oriented G-decks run 3 Crobat G, and even 1-2 Spiritomb as well.

I'm just saying Spiritomb is a really high end staple, and it won't be replaced just like that.

Te more that I think of it, this is the card I have waited for the most from platium. I love this card. It's a PP thats searchable. That wins games. Poison can hurt a ton too. Free retreat helps a ton too. It's so good. 10/10

I play one in my Gengar deck incase I can't get my Cresselia Lv. X out quick enough or if I need to OHKO a Claydol w/ Cresselia Lv .X out. It really helps a lot as it's Roseanne'sable and has free retreat. I can be used in most any deck since there will always be that situation whre you need just 10 more damage.

7/10

Another card to consider for your Galactic/SP deck, Crobat G is pretty useful. Statwise, 80 HP is common for a SP Pokemon, x2 Weakness to :lightning could be bad if Amphy/Manetric becomes popular, -20 Resistance to :fighting: would be better if he wasn't a Basic (read: Take Out), and has a zero Retreat Cost (always nice). Flash Bite is a nice Poke-Power, letting you put 1 damage counter on any of your opponent's Pokemon (just don't target one with Unown G on it). Toxic Fang is also a decent attack, dealing a "toxic" Poison effect where your opponent take 20 damage inbetween turns rather than 10.

Modified - 8/10 (Another good card for a Galactic deck)
Limited - 9/10 (Good Poke-Power, and Toxic Fang damage can add up quickly)
Unlimited - 1/10 (No Galactic decks here = no need for Crobat G)
