Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

2009 US Nationals

Did anyone manage to get a final standings for the top 64? They kicked everyone out as soon as the matches ended, and I was told standings were never posted.

I asked one of 'The Hive' members about this and was told that unfortunately the current limitations in the software don't permit a merge of the two Masters flights. So there is no way to calculate overall position in the tournament.

Its coming in a future upgrade.

Best guess estimate for approximate position is to take your table number and work back from there.

Table number supposedly ties to seeding.

I was at table 1 for T32 and lost.

Puts me ~17th overall. (At least that's what I'd like to think anyway!) ;-)

USA nationals has been uploaded. It looks like there are a few ID problems in masters. I do wonder what "Age Unknown" means :)

he didn't need a sleeve check as it wasn't his sleeves that where the problem he colored some of his yellow borders to red, which didn't obscure game text

kingdra can still top2 worlds if u can master it well. chuck made t16 or else no.1. (if he didnt get donked) for chucks case is US nats
but im sure chuck will get an rating invite so as aziz n the rest of team underground.

For Aziz's case, I don't think 120th in NA is good enough. Lolol

DUDE WHAT HAPPENED? =(

Lunch is after this round. Round 3 is not starting until 1:30 because there are no restaurants open downtown on the weekends.

IMO, this should change for next year... Had to walk 6 blocks in a suit and tie to a soup and sandwich place...

the food issue is the #1 issue that needs to be addressed for next year!

I hope we are back in the STL...but we will see!!

Yeah, St Louis is good, but it would have been nice to have just a small hamburger stand or something so the TINY restaurant in there doesn't have a 40 minute wait...

Here are the final numbers, including late players:

Juniors: 225
Seniors: 283
Masters: 679

Total: 1187

According to the OP website, this was the actual breakdown...

MA: 681
SR: 284
Jr: 225
Total: 1190

Which is strange, because I heard a 1202 thrown out there a couple of times...

Last year:

Ma: 536
Sr: 206
Jr: 204
Total: 947

Percentage Increase:
Ma: 27.1%
Sr: 37.9%
Jr: 10.3%
Total: 25.7%

And just a little bit of bragging rights, my predictions from states from this year:

Not much of a change from earlier in the week. Which, IMO, is a good thing. 32% increase over last year's total numbers is nothing short of miraculous. If we see an increase like this in the size of Nationals, we'd see these numbers for this year:

Juniors: 248
Seniors: 243
Masters: 784
Total: 1275 (or 1252, depending on how you want to crunch the numbers)

Have fun digesting the numb3rs!

I didn't feel like it was THAT hard to find food. BT's was a great Pizza place,DeDe's had some good food place too(even though the place loooks like it was built weirdly). There was also a bar with great food as well and all these were within walking distance.
