Not really, a rotation never makes sense for most. Everyone will still be bitter. I would agree NXD-on sounds better than any other rotation, but still it is a rotation that will have little effect.

I'm still frustrated we havent found out the rotation. This is a disgrace and with most jobs outside the mentality of this game would result in some firing. True, there is no "date" set to which we find out a new format. It still is incredibly late for an announcement.

I just feel the game is slipping, I wish these people would actually CARE about the game.

Sorry, I just meant since EXes got reprinted in EBB (namely mewtwo), he's still in the format, so might as well include the set he arrived in.

Also not so sure this "delay" is world-stopping. Sure, people would like to know what to prepare for, but whatever it is wouldn't likely go into effect for another month and a half anyway. I guess if you're itching to be the first to dump non-legal cards on eBay then it's a strenuous waiting game.
 
Haha, no its definitely not world stopping. But this is a business, it should be treated like a business. Timely decisions, the right decisions are all subject to a correctly run business. They are on a decline of running the business in a good standing. Its not the complex decisions that define a business, but the most simple of decisions that make the business succeed or not.

Here is my analogy if things. TPCi acts like the Kansas City Royal management. In the baseball world, everyone knows the way they run the Royals is incorrect, so many horrible decisions that make them a joke. The thing is, the management still makes money because of ticket sales, so why would they change when they are still in a mass profit situation? That is how Pokemon is being run, in my opinion. Not listening to the people, just slapping us in the face with the fact that we love this game and almost no matter what we will still play this game, invest in this game, love this game.

I'm sorry, I'm just ranting, I just see the potential for this game to die like Yugioh did for a while because of poor management and I don't want to see that happen. That's all I'm saying...

Hopefully people see the side of me not trying to attack TPCi but rather WISH they would fix their failures with time sensitivity on their mind.

Don't flame me too much, haha.

And, as expected, they were working on a few other things. Probably what took so long.

Starting in late 2014, a new TCG format will be joining the familiar Modified format as a legal option for sanctioned Pokémon events of all sizes. Because this new format will allow players to use all sets from Black & White on, players will have even more options when designing a winning deck!

We will provide more details as we near the end of the 2014 tournament season!

Maybe they actually wanted to get it live sooner, but couldn't so ended up just pre-announcing.
