Are they really trying to make all of us who've watched Fairly Oddparents since before it got its own cartoon (way back to the Oh Yeah Cartoons days) just absolutely hate it? What is up with the plot, it makes no sense at all...not to mention it contradicts what they've already established in the show anyways.

Yeah...this deserves a spot somewhere in the "worst ideals ever" category...along with live action Garfield and (probably) Yogi Bear.

I'd like to add live action Pink Panther and live action Smurfs to that list. :nonono:
 
The Pink Panther was a movie that had nothing to do with the cartoon. Actually, the reason the cartoon was made in the first place was to ship with the original movie (not the crappy remake).

There was a live action smurfs movie?

And I actually did not know that about the Pink Panther. But yes, I was talking about that recent remake movie. (2006 I think?)
 
^nice! victims of groupthink......lol. I think that maybe "mob mentallity" prolly lent a hand in this disaster supported by the cartoonists responsable for the Rug rats.
Or maybe this movie idea was realy hatched by a person who IS 23 and IS living in a basement wishing he was smarter then a fifth grader at his/her parents house. ( What ever happend to the guy who hosted DOUBLE DARE? oh- is he in the basement? )
