The HP in this set is all over the place.
So . . . does this mean everyone is now bored with Garchomp/Altaria and Hydreigon/Darkrai and ready to move on to Blastoise/Keldeo or whatever?
Unlike the rest of you, I see outlandish potential in this set. Oh the possibility
Cresselia can be an effective tank with things like Eviolite, Pokemon Center, or Serperior or even Potion variants.
Landorus EX is the bane of Tynamo's existence. It has the ability to stop Eels decks dead in their tracks. And with all kinds of new energy accel Fighting types are due for an uprising.
Flygon can pair up with Accelgor to make a spread deck with paralysis and added damage to poison.
I see potential in Black Kyurem EX if used with Escape Rope or Vanilluxe and Fliptini, or Leaf Tailor Leavanny to get rid of Dragon Weakness. It can first turn paralyse with Ether and DCE, and search out Crystal Wall with Skyla.
Lopunny can be a good healer with Fliptini in a tank deck like Cresselia.
Town Map peaks my interest. It's like a perminent Alph Lithograph TM. I'm certainly gonna try it.
Hugh Iagree is a little strange. It reminds me of Pain Split from the video games.
FA Cheren is awesome looking. I have a similar hairstyle minus the cowlick up top.
Blastoise is the new Feraigatr. Nuff said.
Keldeo is EXcellent. Obviously pairs with Blastoise but could also work with Klinklang with Blend Energy, etc. It's Ability is pure shenanigans.
Dusknoir works swimmingly in spread decks.
Toxicroak can Revenge KO for any Energy. Sure takes Mewtwo down a peg. It's second attack is pretty cool too.
I forgot to mention Virbank Gym works well with this and Poison Point Scolipede. Man poison is getting buffed up too.
Swoobat could be a Durant alternative if paired with Gardevoir or something.
Lunatone is pure tech but works with Ether among other things.
Gotta love Scizor. Can team up with Bouffulant DB/DB and Safeguard Sigilyph to wall against EX's.
White Kyurem EX is my personal favorite in this set. Like Black Kyurem it can Ether donk for 60, 110 with Crystal Edge if you get it. There seemes to be little need for Emboar here IMO
Stoutland is interesting considering it locks Supporters in the Active spot.
Ether is self explanatory.
Skyla is an awesome. Search for Trainers is long over due and with ACE SPECs stomping the yard, that just makes her better.
Aspertia City is geared toward Colorless types. Works as a home field advantage for stuff like Bouffulant, Stoutland, Regigigas, Tornadus, etc. With FA Cheren you could make a Gym Leader deck for fun.
Bianca is just adorable. Still as useful as her younger self.
There you have it. Fox Master's take on this lovely new set. Where others see flaw I see possibility.
There's one key difference: Blastoise lacks the water type restriction. He's compatible with things like Mewtwo EX techs, while Feraligatr wasn't. It's far, FAR more useful.Blastoise is the new Feraigatr. Nuff said.

Also, venipede + virbank stadium + rocky helmet = 80 damage just for attacking the thing PLUS you can evolve into EP Whilipede on the next turn and hit for 70 for one energy. I think Scolipede Swarm might become a viable deck.

The majority of us are liking the set there's only been a few who said otherwise. And Cressalia is a horrible tank in a format with mewtwo ex around.

...actually, you might be onto something. Going from EP Whilipede to this Scolipede would give you a 150 HP Pokemon who poisons anything that attacks it AND can still attack for 70 after a Max Potion. Maybe toss in a few Amoongus and devolution spray in case they try to get out of it by not attacking...Whirlipede, a useful stage 1... I think Celebi EX's first use was just discovered
