Cities are important. [Nope] For one thing there's rankings. [That's a given] For another, it's a chance to see the metagame and get experieince and polish your deck. [Log on to X site ftw]
Personally, I couldn't/can't/won't pay anything to go to Battle Roads, so this is really my only chance to polish before State.
I don't understand why people waste that much money on cities, especially considering it's been cut to a top 4.
Have fun? See friends? Rating points?
Jacob doesn't comprehend as he never has fun. He doesn't have friends. and Rating points? lol.
not a problem... Australia is probably the most distant between City champs. Some countries only have ONE city champs such as Malaysia and New Zealand... Not good.
I am driving from Grand Junction, Colorado to Colorado Springs Colorado. Check Google Maps.
All the Cities in my state are at least 250 miles away. I picked this one because it was a little later and maybe I could use my holiday money to stay overnight and not have to driver there at four in the morning.
Does anyone else have to drive an insane distance to CITIES?
From Tallahassee, the closest city is 2.5 hours away (roughly 180 miles),
The closest one after that is at least 3 hours away.
But eventually that will change. It's hard to get a good venue out here so far. That and the small playerbase.
I don't quite understand why there are that many cities in Utah, but yeah.

How about Texas?
And once again MD only gets 2....
Something really needs to be done to make them spread more evenly, as it provides an unfair advantage to those who have more CCs close by.
I lived in MD for years, just hop over to PA/DE/VA like I did. Besides, you guys will be
compensated big time when States and Regionals roll around. I remember being able to
attend 4 different States out there and multiple regionals. Out here in Utah, It's like a 400
mile drive to Boise or Las Vegas where Idaho and Nevada States will likely be held. I don't
even want to imagine the distances I'll have to go for Regionals, while MD will probably
have 2 or 3 fairly close by.
