any news on pop 8 boosters?

Well, to those that received their kits today, congrats, I had to go to League tonight and tell the kids the kit was not received yet and hopefully next week.

To those that opened packs already, I hope you did not get shorted supplies, that will really suck for the players to miss out on their rewards for your desire to have info before anyone else. :nonono:

All of the rares are different, and not reprints.

um... no! rare candy is one of the best cards that exists; i don't know anyone that has too many of this card. roseanne's research is one of the best trainer cards currently. the lucario is nifty, and quality in that consistent lucario way.

the fact that each pack comes with an energy card helps the kids at league so much, and the addition of trainer cards in the set (even night maintenance is useful) is such a huge step forward.

this shows that p.u.i. is either listening to us, or is doing a great job on their own. either way, this is one of the best p.o.p. sets in some time.

(and i can only assume that getting another set of chimchar/turtwig/piplup from DP means that we can still play them for some time).

frankly, we need to quit complaining about it, and say thanks. thank you p.o.p.
 
Definitely pop 8 is a lot better then pop 6 and 7 by far :thumb: my only complain is why would they put the starters in pop 8 :confused: there is a lot better cards that can be reprinted.
 
Wait...each pack comes with an energy? So you get an energy and 1 promo card, or 2 promo cards and 1 energy? Either way, Roseanne/Rare Candy/Night Maintenance FTW!
 
Roseanne and Candy means that I actually care about the POP set this time around! I'm running low on Roseanne as it is, and Candy is one of my "lifeblood" Trainers.
 
Finally a convient way to get the basic and metal energy.
And roseanne's is really nice addition.

POP packs are getting really nice for newer players. I guess they want to attract new players with the leauge.
 
Awesome indeed (however the previous was good to! Gallade was worth some goode money)

But I think it's fantastic that they included Roseanne's, Candy, a fanatstic Heatran (in special when Sorm Front will come out) and the Luxray and the Lucario are also very nice pokemon!
 
Trainers FTW. No matter what else is in the set Candy, Roseanne's, and NM save it.

I have a sneaky feeling though that at least one or two of these cards will see competitive play.
 
Trainers in POP packs again? I like it! The Luxray isn't half-bad either.

However, we can do without another alt-art set of Chimchar, Turtwig and Piplup.

wrong:tongue:. I live in Switzerland and here we are kind of half a day "before" you... We had a tournament on saturday so I was able to get those packs legally^^

Then you are the one wrong. POP 8 packs were not officially "legal" to be given out until Sept. 15, 2008, which is a MONDAY. Sorry, your LL did wrong!

OT: IF there is RC, NM and Roseanne's in the packs, along with basic metal and darks, then this is a good move by PUI!
