App. ST (I-AA/FCS) Beats #5 Michigan 34-32!

Yeah I find it amazing that he loses bowl games and loses to OSU on a regular basis, and they still keep him around. It'll be interesting to see who they go after though, I wouldn't be surprised to see them make a run at Rich Rodriguez at West Virginia, or who knows Butch Davis might flee UNC for that kind of job.

saying they're going to fire lloyd carr is easier said than done. i mean the university and the coach have a certain amount of respect for each other when they've been together for this long: for ex., there is no way bowden still should be at FSU, after the last couple of years. now by no means am i comparing bowden and carr, but they are in similar circumstances as each has led their team to countless BCS bowls. and also upsets are a part of the game, you have to live with them. and granted that this upset was major, it still pales in comparison to the patriots beating the rams n the super bowl or *sob* the warriors beating the mavs in the playoffs *sob*

I don't see how it is so much of the coaches problems. It's also the players fault. The coach can only do so much but the players have to execute. Execution and inexperience are two reasons they lost. It is much harder to keep a good team together in College than in the NFL. You always have to have a rebuilding year.

Although it's prior to halftime I think we can conclude that Michigan is 0-2 now. 32-7 Oregon less than 3 minutes left in the half.

Pac 10 is on the rise, when it comes to football.
I dunno about the Big Ten. Cause ^ Poliwag is right. The Big Ten isnt very stellar when it comes to bowl games.

last year. ohio state lost Florida L 41-14
michigan lost to USC L 32-18
iowa made it close but lost to Texas L 26-24 .
and others.

the conference went 2-5. so it makes me wonder how good michigan was to begin with. last year. just cause they rocked their conference schedule (except for ohio state). doesnt mean much when their conference isnt all that good.

and did you see that fake hand off on the statue of liberty. oregon sure looks good when it's playing michigan.

illinois should win their slam dunk game. and when mich loses, they're gonna the very bottom of the conference.

And, yet again, another reason to get rid of Lloyd Carr. This is the first time in I don't know how long that Michigan has lost 4 consecutive games. He's a good recruiter, but he can't coach a game worth anything. Get rid of him, get somebody who can actually call a game, and they'll be good again.

Illinois shut out Western Illinois at home ranked 23rd..... in FCS unlike Michigan who couldn't beat their FCS opponent at home. I don't see a winning record for Michigan this year. Illinois runs a spread to with a mobile Juice Williams so it could be a good game in Champaign on October 20th. And same thing what happend with Illinois vs. Ohio State last year. Ohio State couldn't stop the spread so they won by a slim margin. Florida beat them because they ran a much better spread offense.

Yeah LSU should be #1 this week and Oklahoma #2 and USC #3. Beating another top 10 team by 41 is surreal. LSU is for real and could be one of the few who've gone undefeated in the SEC. I think it will be USC vs LSU in Arizona for the National Championship.

south florida beats auburn AT auburn rofl. Stupid auburn coach not trying to win with 1 minute and 2 timeouts left in regulation. I cant see how his players could be too tired to try, every other college football team plays a full 4 quarters

South Florida is one of those upset teams that everyone has been talking about, so I am not shocked by that.

LSU Vs. USC, with LSU taking it.

On a side note, I hope Penn State wins the big ten (Favorite team)
