Here's the link for San Diego public transportation.

There is a San Diego Trolley stop behind the T&C Resort. It looks like it takes about 30 minutes to get to the zoo from the Fashion Valley Transit stop.

(If you're going to go to the zoo, go EARLY. The animals are a LOT more active. If you go mid-day, you won't see nearly as much.)

There's always Sea World and the Wild Animal Park. I think there's a mall in downtown SD, too.

MEXICO, my parents went there in '03 when they had Worlds there. theres Coronado island right by the San Diego Convention Centre where Pokemon was a few years ago, there is a huge bridge that goes to a small island but has little shop and cafe's on it. also Old Towne San Diego, you cab take Highway 5 their I think...

Ya, I think there is an indian casino somewhere there. San Diego doesn't meet my thrills, so that's why I'm going to Six Flags =D

When I headed down to San Diego for the West Coast Super Trainer Showdown II (wow, that was sooo long ago... :frown: ), I ventured out to Sea World which was a rather cool experence... there really isn't anything like that up here in New England, so that was kinda cool. Also my mother really liked the shopping village that was right next to the convention centre... I forget it's name, but there was a really tastey resturant there too :thumb:

I want to get tickets for the Padres game on the Monday after worlds. How far is the stadium from the hotel if anyone knows?

Depends upon the time of day. The new Padres stadium is downtown, adjacent to the Convenion Center where the WCSTS was held; the Worlds hotel is in Mission Valley, in approximately the same area where the WCSTS hotel was (off I-8). I would allow at least an hour before gametime for a day game, more for a night game as traffic in and out of downtown is horrible, especially if there is a large event going on at the convention center like Comic-Con this week...

[EDIT: That's what I get for posting early in the morning before I've had my coffee. There is a SD Trolley station at Fashion Valley Mall, right behind the Town and Country; the Trolley can take you downtown and let you off right next to Petco Park.]

Go to the beach. The beaches here are awesome, particularly La Jolla shores.

Right now the water temperature is between 68-71 degrees consistantly, and I don't think it'll go down by August.

Anyone feels like joining into a little dave and busters fun? they say they have a pump it up, so I will definitevely feel at home there...
