Avatar the Last Airbender: The Conclusion(spoilers)

This is Nick. The only characters that died are Katara's and Sokka's mom and Jet.

Besides, why leave a hanging ending like that if she was dead?


Plus, when Zuko confronts Ozai during the Eclipse, Ozai mentions that he might have been too lenient with banishing traitors. Including Zuko and his mom. Ozai said that he may have to rethink that strategy. (making it more possible she is alive at that point.)
 
hey speaking about Jet...did his friends ever come back to the show after he died? i cant remember if they were part of the attack on the fire nation during the eclipse
 
Tiny and some other from Jet's group where at the eclipse battle and where also seen a few seconds in the verry last minutes after the final battle.
 
What I kept thinking would happen is that aang would trap the fire lord on the rocks, cause he kept holding down his arms and just leave him there trapped and restrained to the rocks. (much like prometheius of greek lore)
 
i was thinking a little darker where aang would break his arms and legs...only leaving his face able to bend something
 
i just want to know if they will make an episode explaing how ozai got the throne and what zuko's mom did to get banished and where she is. Also, if she is alive does zuko find her?
 
they did do that episode. ozai got the throne because irou lost his son so ozai used that as an excuse for inability to rule the fire nation...his dad unfortunately agreed but ozai had to kill zuko...zuko's mom didnt want that to happen so she was banished for "saving" him...i dont remember correctly but im thinking that the ozai's father agreed to this banishment...that way ozai lost someone he "loved" no matter what. apparently she is alive...but the writers havent made a zuko finds his mom episode.
 
yes but in the episode it wasn't clear. Firelord azulon said he WOULDN'T give him iroh's birthright and to show ozai how hard it is to lose a son he wanted him to kill his son. Its all in zuko alone. But how did azulon die? And he just so happened to sie the following day.
 
well you are probably right since its been awhile since i saw that episode...i do remember azulon saying zuko must die...and just use your detective skills here...if he had an arguement with ozai and dies the following day...you can assume that either ozai or zuko's mom killed him.
 
right thats exactly what i want to know tho which one killed him i'm guessing zuko's mom which was why she was banished
 
I seriously doubt Zuko's mom killed Azulon. I think that Ozai killed him so that he could get his brothers birthright.

It makes sense, because Azulon told Ozai he would never get the birthright. Ozai then killed him, so he could "make up" the dying wish that Ozai was to become the new Fire Lord.
 
yeah thats very possible. Now i just want to know why zuko's mom was banished and I want to know if zuko finds her. Who thinks there will be another episode explaining this?

Thats exactly what I've been thinking. In Ozai's crowning, it said it was his father's "dying wish" for him to be crowned, but just before we see him getting all mad because he spoke out suggesting he be crowned instead of Iroh. My brother has the theory that Azula killed their Mom, but thats waaaaaaay over Nick standards.

Well, I don't think there will be an episode, but I'm hoping there will be a sequal series X years later to tie up the loose ends, like if the sweet couple we see at the end produce a few Airbenders, if Zuko finds his mommy, and all this other stuff that could have more done with it.

And on the note of what happened to Azula, its pretty obvious like her father, she will just rot away in prison the rest of her days.
 
Fantastic. Amazing show, greatest animation ever. And to everyone saying there are loose ends, what loose ends? They explained everything except for Azula and Ursa, and Ursa was left unanswered on purpose.
 
Aang in the Avatar state was pretty awesome, not as awesome as his Fish one, but pretty close. I never saw it coming when he took away the fire lord's firebending.

Man, I wish I could of watched it on TV, the internet has such bad quality. I was too busy going to Pokemon League. =)
 
Nick showed it yesterday on TV.

Yeah i really liked it. I thought they ended it well and answered most things(except for zuko's mom:[). I liked how zuko turned out and how all the characters had good endings. That was definetly the best show on nick.
