Base Set Theme Deck Tournament?

Could I bring my own base theme decks and packs, do I just have to chip in for prizes? I'm fine without shadowless, but still want to play. Yes, they're sealed.
 
If it is Held on Thursdays at Nationals you can count me in for sure.
At worlds... Well that just depends on how I do at Nationals.

And I would want the Zap theme deck.

Definately Bringing some sleeves for theses to go in... Unless we could get some old sleeves to use...

I am going to bring the decks with me to Nationals. The way I look at it, if it's a success, we can do it again at Worlds (assuming I can find another shadowless box - they aren't easy to come by).

I also have some Jungle/Fossil/Rocket/Gym packs I was considering adding it to make it more fun.

So, with Nationals only a week away, who is game? It'd cost $150. (I am not making any money, simply covering the costs of the box+decks+1st edition base pack, which total $1200.)

Sounds like good pre-tourny fun. I believe I had Overgrowth and Blackout way back in the day b/c i still have several Gyarados and Hitmonchan cards.
 
I got dibs on overgrowth deck, btw.

If somoene doesn't show up for their blackout deck, I'll play with that if possible.

Just let me know who you are so I can let you know where to be and when!

Pretty sure it's open to players thursday night since pre-registration is going on then. We could start it at 8 since pre-regs ends at that time if that's cool.
 
I wish I had the money for this, because I would be so down for that remaining Zap deck. :( You should let us know how it turns out, though.
 
I willMostLikely be in for this. I would want the zap theme deck please. unless there is an extra blackout one available.

So how will we know who you are? The guy with a whole bunch of super Rare Pokemon Cards who is walking around or what?

There are. It looks like no one has claimed the Brushfire decks. We have two people that want Zap, two that want Blackout, one or two that want Overgrowth. Anyone want to grab the Brushfire deck?

Anyway, I'm thinking around 8 PM on Thursday, somewhere in the convention center for this tournament. How's that sound with everyone?
