I'll be there. Hopefully, leaving round 10-ish. Should be there well before the start, but ya never really know...

Hey peeps! What an AWESOME Event!! They just kept coming in, even after we officially started! We even had a couple more latecomers that weren't on my original list who said they had been driving around looking for the Women's Club and couldn't find it for the longest time, and then I realized I hadn't gotten the sign outside! :redface: In the end, we had

83 players!!

We had several brand new players too, thanks to "Marriland's Pokemon 101 Class" before the tourney. Dev did a great job teaching the excited new players as they entered their first Pokemon Event. A couple of them didn't quite catch on enough to make it into the first round, but were able to join into the next round. And they'll all be back for more events since they had such a great time!

I swear our events are always like a big reunion! Everyone seemed to have a great time and the room was full of some really top players!

First off, my deepest thanks to my Judges... Devin, Keny, Eric and Adam... we couldn't do any of this without all of your dedication and support! You guys are the BEST!! And I mean that sincerely!
And thanks to Jimmy B for being such a good sport and signing autographs for those who were thrilled to find out they had such a celebrity in the room! It meant a lot to them, that was nice of you!

Also I've got to mention that the crowd we had was such a great one... with so many people, a couple of cell phones and IPods got accidentally left here and there, but each one got turned in by honest players so that everyone got all their stuff back!


And thankfully, there were no police at this one! lol :wink:

It was a very intense and difficult senior draw. 18 in the division with about 8 people who could have won. Others that got left out of top cut were: Mike 3-1, James 3-1, Kevin 2-2, Me 2-2.


Jeff played well with Raieggs where he played Chris with Raieggs and the two destinys came in 3rd and 4th.

he had a bad start Round 1, he shouldve went undefeated........
and so did James F, i saw his round 4 game he had an even
worse start against Jeff........

He even told me that he had a good start, but that he made a critical mistake by discarding a Celio when he used a Mentor

+ the fact I got great draw the whole game

from what i saw he DID NOT have a good start.....
and i kinda was sittin RIGHT next to him when he was
playing.....:nonono:< was my facial expression.....
but when you said you got a good start he was like
i got a good start also >:biggrin:
he had some GREAT draws that turned his bad start
into a really good one :eek:

Also wanted to mention that we've got a GB charger that is either Toby's, Scott's or Jeremiah's, so if any of you talk to any of them and they're missing one, I'll bring it on Sat to TIY.

well i wasnt exactly sitting RIGHT NEXT TO HIM....:rolleyes:
but i was sitting close enough to him to see his hand....:wink:

and a T2 kill isnt always good, cuz it changes the way you setup,
cuz your trying to draw a candy and if u dont draw it then your kinda
screwed
