Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Battle Road Spring 2008 - Oregon Locations

Yeah, that's as far as I intended on going in here. I only replied in this thread so as to keep all related discussion in one place.

I'm like a captured lion trying to rip its cage apart. lol

Any more off topic discussion, and we will close this one down.

Battle Roads are over, and we can have our last happy thoughts, and then, on to Nats.

Yeah, baby!

Salem BR

I have photos from Salem BR but the gallery has been down so there is a delay. . . .

DarkStar20--it was nice meeting you and the group you brought from the southern part of our fine state. Hoorah for you making top 4! I look forward to someday soon traveling south to a BR in your neighborhood.

Phazon, I'd like to meet your lovely lady too--to tell her how lucky she is. But I'm sure she already knows that. . . . .

She thinks she does, but she underestimates how wonderful I am. I'm a hot dish, yumyum!

Yeah, is there a Pokemon event happening on August 2nd or 3rd?

The gallery is still down, so click here to see Salem BR photos.

I didn't stay till the very end to get a photo of the master's winners and I was busy with other things to get a photo of the junior winner. That was Jonathan anyhow. Just look at his photo for the Corvallis winners as Salem made his 3rd BR win this season.

I want to say THANKS for all those who showed great Spirit of the Game on Sunday. Darkstar had a little car trouble and the Borderlands employees let him borrow some tools. The Trube family and Marvin helped a woman change a flat tire--Marvin scrambling to find a lever to work the jack.

Hurray for our fine Pokemon players. Congrats to the winners. Thanks BDS and Rich working as judges.

I didn't get to battle Chris for his "bring it on" challenge but I did beat a Clanton on Sunday. Yes! it's true. But my win over June forced me to ask, "ok, who are you and what have you done with June Clanton?" I suspect cosmic forces were at play. You see, we were dressed alike that day. When she rolled 3 tails on a TSD, (something I do consistently), I began to think my luck and skill were switched with hers for the day. Please note, even if I had lost to June at that game I had a fun time. Actually I had fun with all my matches on Sunday and got to meet some new players too.
