I might not make it to the Hillsboro BR -- my father had a heart attack on Thursday and I'm not sure yet whether it's okay leaving him here. He says to go, but I want to keep an eye on him.

okay people BRING IT ON!!!! I'm ready and taking on all challengers this week-end. I hope you can handle it. See everybody there :thumb:

Well, mr. raichu, you want to tell them what happened today or should I?

Anyway, awesome day today. Kudos to the Rocket Boss for judging today. Those Rocket Dice he was selling were pretty sweet.
In the DS tournament we had:
First: me (Anti Darkrai team FTW)
Second: Oliver B.
Third/Forth: Andrew L. and John C.

Well, my father insisted that I go to Battle Roads, and it was pretty fun. I have to agree, kudos to Team Rocket Boss for the judging, and also to the Rocket Grunt for pulling my table number twice for in-between-round prizes. Got some new cards and an awesome new Blastoise deck box, plus fourth place (lost to Ben's -- Mr Raichu's son's -- Magdol. It's just too fast! Awesome deck though).
Also, to top it all off, my father's been moved from ICU to IMCU and might be allowed to come home on Monday!

I'm a rocket admin, not grunt! Glad to hear that your father's doing better. Best wishes to him. :thumb:

OK, so now all the BR's are over. Wishing I could join some NW players to Nats. and Worlds, but I can't go.

Here's the REAL resone why I won't be a those events.
^Also my BR "report."

Good job to Clint winning the DS tournament.
Ben placed second

Congratulations to Stephen and Lloyd on a great finals matchup! You held off the "Father-Son" 1st place that I've been working toward. Ah well I guess we just need to do it at Nats...or Worlds :smile:

I dropped by on Sunday for a bit. Yay.

Also, for those wanting to meet my girlfriend, she'll be here from July 30th through August 7th*. I propose a get-together among several of us.

*Please, please keep your "Hot Damn"s to a minimum. K thx,

Hey everyone, I was just at Borderlands today and one of the guys who runs the store complained that we left it a little too messy on Sunday. (not sure if he was kidding around or not) Since Barbara keeps telling us Salem league members to clean up after ourselves it's only fair any visitors do the same as well. We want to keep using that venue for future tournaments.

I'm not sure what you mean. I was there until almost the end. I walked around the store several times including the restrooms as I was searching for something to help Darkstar with his car troubles. The trash cans had been emptied earlier by a Borderlands employee. I thought all the tables were clear, including the back room. Besides, you being on staff yesterday and belonging to the home league should have had the final clean-up job. JMHO. Please make any amends on behalf of the Pokemon community.

Gee, sorry, I'm just saying what the guy said. For all I know, some yugioh players may have snuck in that night and messed the place up after you left.

Well I'm sorry if my troubles distracted anybody. The last match was going on and we were just having terrible luck.
Thanks to everyone for being so hospitable! It was wonderful to see all the help and support during the entire
tournament process, I truly hope that I get a chance soon to show the same hospitality in return, (Though I hope
none of you have to endure the misfortunes! lol.)
