Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Best Games for DS?

What do the first two things mean? I haven't opened the game yet because I want to know if I have to buy a bunch of crap to play on the internet. I have Comcast Cable. What's a wirless router? Do I have to hook the DS up to something to play on the internet?

EDIT: My dad told me I do have a wireless router, so does that mean all I would to do is put the game in and then there is an option to play on the internet or...?

Yay!

Okay, welcome to DS Wi-Fi school 101.

This is a router:

Do you got one of those?

If you don't you'll need one of these:

You have Comcast Cable, so that fulfills the requirements, but still, you should go here to see if your computer is compatible with the Wi-Fi USB:

Read and scroll down to the "Before you Buy" section.

I edited above but you missed it, I do have a wireless router. So now I have to see if it's compatable with the Wi Fi thing? Then if it is, all I would to do is play the game near my computer to play on the internet?

While you're playing Mario Kart there should be an option to test your connection after you click on Wi-fi mode or whatever it's called.

Ok, so I've got a router and the internet. So now I have to take the chance that the internet will work or not?

It would really depend upon the type of game you are into. I'm personally into many kinds of games, and like to try them before making a judgment on if it's worth my time to finish or not.

Out of the list on the link you have above, I would go with the following:

1) Animal Crossing: Wild World
I found this game much to my liking...much more then the Game Cube version that is. It could be because it's mobile and I can take it with me anywhere, so I can spend more time on it (which this game sort of requires). However, it's not for everyone.

2) Digimon World DS
OMG! I recommended a Digimon Game! Yes, and out of all the Digimon game's I've played, this one was the best (though it had some problems within it). It reminds me of the Pokemon games greatly, though they do add some 'twists' to the mix. Just like above, it's not going to be for everyone though.

3) Final Fantasy III
I love this game. It was one of the few DS games that I went out and got the day it came out. Normally I wait for a while or get it at a discount from a used gaming store. I'm still working my way through it though. *blush*

4) Metroid Prime: Hunters
This game is great fun when online (though the single person missions off-line arn't all that superb). But if you play via Wi-Fi a great deal, this is a must have (with Mario Cart that is).

?) Lost Magic [my bro recommends this game]
My bro is a fan of this game, and he would suggest it for you. I, however, am not a fan of it. That just shows the differences between players.

The following are games that I'm looking forward to next year:

A) Pokemon Diamond / Pearl
B) Marvel Trading Card Game
C) Yu-Gi-Oh GX: Spirit Caller
