Hello everyone,
I haven't posted for a long time, and I admit that I am a bit rusty with the card game in general. I don't think my deck is completely original, but I hope I did make a serious effort to at least come up with a creative deck.
Taken account into very good, obvious suggestions. Let's try it again:
Pokemon (16):
4x Growlithe LM
3x Arcanine ex
2x Rayquaza ex DX
2x Rayquaza ex d
2x Chansey UF
2x Blissey ex
1x Holon's Castform
Trainers (29):
4x Holon Transceiver
3x Holon Mentor
2x Holon Adventurer
1x Holon Scientist
3x Mary's Request
2x Copycat
3x Prof. Elm's Training Method
3x Windstorm
2x Giant Stump
2x Warp Point
4x Claw Fossil
Energies (15):
7x Fire
4x Lightning
4x React
*Concept: In the early phase of the game, use either Arcanine ex LM to overwhelm your opponent, or Rayquaza ex d to KO opponent's important Basic Pokemon on the Bench. Then later in the game, play Blissey ex to completely heal up all needed Pokemon, play Warp Point, and go for Energy Absorption.
Afterwards, you can fruitfully play Rayquaza ex DX and activate its Poke-Power Dragon Boost to swap all Energies in play to him and finish the game.
*Card Choices: Here are the choices I am not sure about - Warp Point vs. Switch, and including cards such as Energy Removal 2, Pokemon Reversal, and my lone Holon's Castform in the deck. This is a very tight deck, so every card counts.
*My Initial Evaluation: It has good types - Fire and Colorless. It is very advantageous against decks like Salamence d/Metagross DX and Metanite. I have Claw Fossil to buy extra time with relative ease. The decks that will give me most trouble will be decks like Banette ex/Houndoom.
Starting with Claw Fossil is a big help, since it forces my opponent's flips to go their way (Pokemon Reversal, ER2). However, I have a distinct speed disadvantage. Thus, changes to somewhat better my chances against fast decks are greatly appreciated.
