Hello everyone,
I haven't posted for a long time, and I admit that I am a bit rusty with the card game in general. I don't think my deck is completely original, but I hope I did make a serious effort to at least come up with a creative deck.

Taken account into very good, obvious suggestions. Let's try it again:

Pokemon (16):
4x Growlithe LM
3x Arcanine ex
2x Rayquaza ex DX
2x Rayquaza ex d
2x Chansey UF
2x Blissey ex
1x Holon's Castform

Trainers (29):
4x Holon Transceiver
3x Holon Mentor
2x Holon Adventurer
1x Holon Scientist
3x Mary's Request
2x Copycat
3x Prof. Elm's Training Method
3x Windstorm
2x Giant Stump
2x Warp Point
4x Claw Fossil

Energies (15):
7x Fire
4x Lightning
4x React

*Concept: In the early phase of the game, use either Arcanine ex LM to overwhelm your opponent, or Rayquaza ex d to KO opponent's important Basic Pokemon on the Bench. Then later in the game, play Blissey ex to completely heal up all needed Pokemon, play Warp Point, and go for Energy Absorption.

Afterwards, you can fruitfully play Rayquaza ex DX and activate its Poke-Power Dragon Boost to swap all Energies in play to him and finish the game.

*Card Choices: Here are the choices I am not sure about - Warp Point vs. Switch, and including cards such as Energy Removal 2, Pokemon Reversal, and my lone Holon's Castform in the deck. This is a very tight deck, so every card counts.

*My Initial Evaluation: It has good types - Fire and Colorless. It is very advantageous against decks like Salamence d/Metagross DX and Metanite. I have Claw Fossil to buy extra time with relative ease. The decks that will give me most trouble will be decks like Banette ex/Houndoom.

Starting with Claw Fossil is a big help, since it forces my opponent's flips to go their way (Pokemon Reversal, ER2). However, I have a distinct speed disadvantage. Thus, changes to somewhat better my chances against fast decks are greatly appreciated.

I see your strategy using Quaza for the big OHKO's, but I still think you need some Re-Act energy. And Giant Stump>Power Tree. It just hurts that once you build arcanine up that you have to discard all those energies.

IMO i see Re-act being more useful than the claw fossils.

- 2 Claw Fossil
- Power Tree
-1 WIndstorm

+2 React energy
+2 Giant Stump
+1 Holon Lass

Giant stump can also rid yoy of your damaged pokemon late in the game.

I hope this will add a lil bit of consistency to your deck will.

2- Copycat
2+ Scott
1- Holon Castform
1- Claw Fossil
2+ Warp Point

Hope this works

Rayquaza ex d can snipe the Bench to get around Safeguard, but thats not much of a defence, so you should probably think about adding a possible tech Deoxys ex EM to get around that kind of Pokemon.

a better tech would be the latias D and latios EX DF combo so latias can activate her pokemon body to negate safeguard. OWNAGE

First of all, thanks for all the input so far.

I think 2 major Pokemon with Safeguard should be a major concern to most of us - Banette CG and Dustox ex. The other anti-ex Pokemon that could give me problems include Pokemon like Latios ex delta and Deoxys ex (Defense).

Notice Latias d or Latios d from Holon Phantoms cannot stop Dustox ex. I think we can discuss some viable solutions toward some of these threats. However, if there are a lot of anti-ex decks, then this is not the deck to play.

Against Dustox ex: Deoxys ex (Speed), Latias*, Latios*, Mewtwo*
Against Latios ex delta or Deoxys ex (Defense): Rayquaza*, Latias*, Mewtwo*
Against Banette CG: Latios/Latias delta together, Mewtwo*

Out of all of the above, Banette CG is the most popular in general. In CA, Banette CG and Dustox ex are the most played. Thus, Mewtwo* sounds like the best choice. Notice Latios ex delta and Deoxys ex (Defense) are weak to Psychic.

I think I can be more effective against these Pokemon if I play the 1-1 Latios delta and Latias delta, and Latias*. However, that will affect the consistency of my deck - namely my Trainers and Energies.

I can't say if I will or will not make these changes. If you choose to play with these deck, then the metagame will affect some of your Pokemon choices.

I think I should add that Rayquaza ex d is intended to be a surprise attacker. However, I found that starting with it isn't that bad, compared to Chansey or Rayquaza ex DX anyway. At least you can mess with your opponent's Bench a bit and pick up some early prizes.

i say go 1-1 with blissey... because 1) arcanine self heals... 2) you have to discard energy... the fact is that arcanine is going to be doing a lot of that... so i say replace the 2 cards with holons castforms... thats way you can save some basic energy, and the claw fossils... let them go... they will only hold you back... instead, add a 2-2 line for safegaurd, because you will play against banny. i say a delta species so that you can search it out or discard with farmer. my next question.... why windstorm? there are no tools that will hurt you and no stadiums to really worry about... so id say replace them with some stadiums to disrupt... for this deck...adjust for your metagame
so
- 1/1 blissey ex
-4 claw fossils
and i think a 2/2 houndoom would work and i say 1/1 switch warp point instead of 2 warp point

the only thing that worries me about this deck is inconsistent starts. i'm pretty sure you don't want to start with either chansey or ray ex dx, but there's a decent percentage you will. the ray ex dx idea with energy absorption sounds deadly late game though. i say you also drop down to 1/1 blissey.

Haha someone is forgetting about the secret safeguard.....Dusclops from CG. You can't shut it down with a OHKO because it is not weak to psychic and prevents special energies from being attached to the active unless it is D/S energy. It was just a thought to throw into the mix. Having two Blissey's isn't a bad idea when are going to have room on the bench for them. Also i have played with two in my Kabutops deck and they work great because the blissey's help you out and can power themselves up also.
i would think about getting rid of the Rayquaza EX DX because you are going to be fighting over energies ex..Arcanine -Rayquaza both have a two retreat cost and to get the enegies onto the Ray..you kind of need to use its pokepower and the Arcanine keeps burning energies away.
I would get rid of the 1 castform and put a holon's Electrode in considering you only have 2 delta's in the whole deck.
Although i hate to say this, because a ton of decks have this in it, you could try a Mew EX LM.
And to get rid of all safeguards maybe drop the 2 Rayquaza EX DX and put a line of Latios/Latias HP Dual Aura (i think) and put a latias* in and also put another Holon's Electrode in.

the dusclops is a good idea, as well as the electrodes but i saw the rayquaza will still work because its a lat game hitter... but if you start with it...it could be trouble...

Mewtwo d may be a good tech concidering energy issues. It can both surprise your opponent and help you win the game.

How Much is this deck different from the one you played against (lynette?)at cities? I have a deck simalar to this but I use a different fossil. I put Aerodadtyl d on it to search for energy and its free retreat to bring up Ray ex.
