The first is kinda an obvious choice, but...
The second. Doesn't Holon WP cause problems for the counter, 'cause that messes up the first attack, and the second attack of the main pokemon is only going to get 1, maybe 2 KOs?
Or am I looking at the wrong stage 2 pokemon?
No, you're at the right one. But all the prizes you draw all game long are with that second attack. The first attack is used maybe once per tournament, not at all once per match.
What kills Blissey is the combination of that attack (and other Pokémon in your deck, of course) and heavy disruption. Once Blissey loses its draw and its speed, it's dead meat. I won a tournament this way on Sunday (in Osaka, Japan). It was a small, 16-player tournament and I'm definitely no great player anymore, but the same happens in bigger and more important tournaments in Japan. Blissey is dying.
And Rainbowgym, I disagree. The format is not such a huge deal. When Blissey dominated the format in Japan this spring, I predicted it would do the same after MT's release on the US/INTL market. People didn't believe me because our Blissey wouldn't have the Holon Engine and Life Herb, two key cards in the Japanese winning deck. I said Blissey was going to be huge no matter what, I even did at Worlds, when most people who opened Blissey from packs said it """sucked""".
No matter what format differences we have, the format mainly cosists of decks build around the most recently released cards. I am completely aware of Cursed Stone's impact, but I'm 100 % sure that the 4 slots Japanese players use for Cursed Stone will be filled wisely by US/INTL players.
