Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

California States - Longbeach

There is no way to be sure of that top 8. Last year it was top 16 and the ptegames website is usually just a cut and paste of an older tournament structure

Yea well thats where I got my info. They have had no info for the longest time and jus posted this info today so im guessing it is correct. If they were guna wait this long to post the info then Im guessing it should be the correct info.

Yeah it's not going to just be a Top 8. And 7 rounds is simply not enough for the nearly 200 players we're going to get in Masters.

Wow I thought there'd be more players actually. All the Orange County cities I saw were pulling in around 80 people - guess that shows where the CA player base is... Now I don't feel so intimidated (still, I'll probably fail big).

I'd expect between 175 and 300 for Masters. And 100 to 150 for Juniors and Seniors combined. Just my guess.

All this stuff goes torward our Premier rating right?

Does it reset?
What are you referring to by "all this stuff"? Only the main tournament goes toward your premier rating, which doesn't get reset until after World Championships. And then the new cycle starts shortly after.

All of the points that you gain or lose from wins/losses are added to your premier rating just like Cities and Battle Roads.
