Funny you should post that video lampooning Mankiw's 10 principles. I've actually read both his "Principles of" books and go to his blog all the time. He's a really brilliant guy. Everyone here could learn much from him.

One depends not on the politicians, but the voters.
This past election is a great example. The people basically said, "Enough!"

Sure, that's fine. Compare it to what you wrote originally, though, and you'll notice how one is loaded in favor of capitalism.
