Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Carrington388's CaC Contest--"The Apprentice" Style

Carrington: Thanks for the reply, but...

You've given no explanation for ANYTHING in my last post other than to say "I jsut don't want to remember it and move on." I expected more out of you, but I guessed wrong.

However, I'm going to be the bigger man and stop this ridicule. Was it warrent? Yeah. Is it still warrent? Of course. But Someone else needs to pick this up if it means anything to them. I've jsut told the truth and saw how the chips fell. I've no doubt someone will keep badgering this topic from the last round and, even if what comes out of this contest is great, it will be rather tainted. I look foreward to your other CaCing pursuits, but this contests and possibly future contests have been ruined b/c of this particular round.

I would wish you well but I doubt you want to hear anything from me now.

Two letters that only one other person in this forum would understand: TR anyone?

Everyone does realise that C388 has no support except for dkates and Sunflorazumarill, right? C388, I'm going to frown on you and every post you make from here on out. All we want is a response. And you're so bad, all you do is ignore it.

Now, you made a huge deal about my plan. The company lost millions of dollars in law suits, according to you. But you won't make a statement about this?

:nonono:

So we have to make a counter card in one of the contests you posted above like in Lorak Lucan's-juj contest we have to create a counter from juj pokemon being played. right?

Ahem, from my contest:
A Pokémon juj is not used in the 60 card deck. Instead, the head of a Pokémon juj tournament would place one of each type of Pokémon juj and play them face down at a table (puting juj-001 on Table 1, juj-002 on Table 2, etc., taking note of which Pokémon juj was at each table, in case they are switched by mistake or on purpose). A Pokémon juj tournament requires exactly 32 people, randomly seated, with 2 players for each Pokémon-juj. It can be played normally, or in 2v2 mode. When both players arrive at a table for a match, the Pokémon juj is revealed, and the players play the game under the jurisdiction of the Pokémon juj until a Stadium card enters play or the Pokémon juj is Knocked Out. Each Pokémon juj is given a Poké-Body, which is the rule that particular Pokémon juj enforces while in play.

So you can't make a card that prevents Pokémon juj from being played: they're in play from the very beginning.

Actually, if I remember the juj contest correctly, Pokémon-juj are very easy to counter. If I recall correctly, Stadium cards of any sort counter them.

A reminder to the 8 remaining participants: Due to the techincal difficulties that plagued the board today, the deadline for round 11 has been extended. More details are in each team's cardmaking thread.

OK, here are each team's average scores for this round:

Team Torchic: 19 points (Lowest Card Score 0, Highest Card Score 42, 2 No-Shows, 2 Penalties)
Team Techno Fluff: 53 points (Lowest Card Score 45, Highest Card Score 59, 0 No-Shows, 2 Penalties)

That means Team Techno Fluff wins their third straight round and improves to 9-2! Although "the man" wasn't impressed with 4 of the 6 cards by the two teams combined for "undesirable mechanics", thus resulting in only 2 of what should have been 8 cards being put into EX: Johto, Team Techno Fluff had the generally better cards and managed to get their entire team across the line, and that means Team Techno Fluff is safe from the boardroom once again!

Team Torchic, I hate to say this, but it appears that the team has only gotten worse as time goes on. I mean, you lost by more points than you got! The biggest blowout so far in this contest. Tonight after Survivor in the Central time zone, which is around 8:00 PM Central, you have a date with the boardroom. One player will be eliminated from this contest. Who's the dead meat in the Team Torchic stables? You have until around 8:00 PM tonight to think about it. I'll see you there.

hmm, does anybody notice a pattern? Maybe the fact that APT didn't submit his cards last round or this round? I'm sure carrington has noticed it. THe fact that APT wasn't nixed already just goes to show you, biased judging...

Remind me, How did we get out captain, who didn't post, as our captain again? Oh, right, C388 arbitrarily saying he didn't like the BG. Congrats, TTF, I think... Only one thing I can think of can describe our team: -_-

Biased Judging...Carrington knew Zora would be a worse captain then you, and that's why he let him win...=/

The only thing I got points off of was for a penalty I didn't know about when creating my card.
