If pokemon troll us, and only give us the basics and stage 1's xD.

I don't even think they've done that in the BW era. It's still unlikely though. We'll probably find out soon because the 1st day of June is Friday and we get the most news about a month prior before release and this set is going to be released in the second week of July.

On a side note, I hope Metagross and Tyranitar are in BW6. Only two pseudos that haven't appeared in the BW era.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, this isn't the first time the final stage of an evolution wasn't revealed with its pre-evolution(s). This is no different.

I wasn't offended. But it's your opinion that the other two were better than Venusaur.
It's not a subjective "opinion" so much as an "unsubstantiated claim".

Venusaur was a pretty horrible Pokemon in the game. Horrible base stats and horrible moveset. Did you know that Gen 1, Venusaur's most powerful STAB attack was Razor Leaf, that only had 55 Power?! (That's not counting Solarbeam, which takes two turns... but even a 60 Power per turn average is extremely bad.) Even in Gen III, its moveset was horrible. Only in Gen 4 when it got 90 power Petal Dance did it get better.

Venusaur might be popular or it might not be; but, in the game, for the first 4 Generations, it has been one of the worst Pokemon in the game no questions asked. Trying to beat gyms with it is really difficult.

Did you know that in Gen 1, the critical hit formula is completely broken and that Venusaur's Razor Leaf will critical hit 99.6% of the time, meaning that its most powerful STAB attack is effectively 110 Power?

They did for Timburr/Gurdurr and Roggenrola/Boldore in BW1, although their evolutions were in the very next Japanese set. Kind of like Base/Jungle/Fossil in a way.

Charizard n blastoise return. Spelling n grammer dont.

Anyways, this was bound to happen soon since they really didn't have any of these cards in a long time (Charizard was last in Arceus iirc).

I took Venuaur for my starter purely for the first gym, then xfered a charmander and squirtle over from other GB to get all three :)

Ah thanks. I wasn't sure if they did it or not. I know our sets have done it before though.

But still, it would be pretty stupid of them to not release them with their pre-evolutions because they have to com eventually.

For those who are whining about certain legendarys not being an ex atm. ever consider they print cards to make the format more balanced.

Cobalion - kyurem
Terrakion - eels darkrai
etc.

Dude did u play red or blue? Everyone I knew started with squirtel or charmander. Charizard is the leading cool pokemon. Nobody chose bulbasaur to start with let's face venasaur is just bad.

Yeah that actually makes 0 sense. They design the starters to be stat and power equivalent to one another and none of the starters are over or underpowered in the game. Venasauer actually has a great move pool. What I thought was interesting was the game identifies bulbasaur for begginers and charmander for advance players, but I kind of found the opposite to be true.

The "Bulbasaur is good for beginners, Charmander for experts" thing is pretty much all based on their type dis/advantages against the first 2-3 Gyms.

the only point i want to give out of my comment before was that from were i was and with my peers and with the anime. I was just saying that people were choosing charmander and or squirtle before the bulbasaur.

This probably won't happen but when our version of this set comes in November, Both Kyurems plus Charizard and Blastoise should be on the pack art.

I'll let you guys figure out why

I hope they reveal Charizard soon :( Since Electabuzz is in BW6, that means Electivire is in it. Hopefully, it's a holo. I'm guessing Scizor is going to be in too since Scyther is in.

This is also what I mean about final stages not being revealed with their pre-evolution(s).

June is going to be an interesting month that's for sure as we usually get the most info the month prior to release.

Personally, I'm hoping for Rhyperior.
