Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Cheap/Easy Decks

I think there are 4 levels of cheap decks.

1. Cheap as in: Theme Deck Cards/Commons/Uncommons

2. Cheap as in: I have staple Trainers to use (Roseanne, Bebe, Candy) but not Claydols and Uxies

3. Cheap as in: I have all the staples but want cheap Pokemon lines

4. Cheap as in: don't tell me to put in money cards like Luxray or Flygon LV X

Awesome. Ask for a definition of "cheap," and then provide an answer using the word "cheap" without YOUR definition.

Awesome.

Awesome. Your post really contributed to the topic and helped the OP.

Awesome.

I'm just asking what is his budget for a deck. And gave him a suggestion of the Scizor/Cherrim deck. It's like a $20 deck. Using very few staple cards.

I'm somewhat of a blend of 2 and 4.

I certainly HAVE staples (Claydol, etc.), but only enough for the decks I personally use. Most of these decks are for OTHER people to use. XD

Now on the topic of my father (who is new), I built him a Torterra deck today, and that's working wonderfully. AND it was cheaper than my Kingdra deck. ^_^
