any ideas on EddieTanimoto? i sent out 3 weeks ago and he says he never got it but i sent first class. it normally takes 3-5 days for me to et stuff out to Cali.
 
i didnt. i thought right then and there that i should never trade with him. does anyone know about eddietanimoto? I am trying to figure ou what to do.

Ifz PM'd me when I had a booster box for trade. Offered like 15 LvX/EX/Star cards, sleeves, etc I wanted (probably worth much more than the box). When I told him he'd be sending first (as per my rules for a high value item) and even had more ref's, he freaked out. Then offered 2-4 more cards plus $30 if I'd send first. Then backed out when I wouldn't. Just thought I'd share since it was suspicious to me and people are expressing their doubts about him.

To be honest, I would have had an issue with that as well. Your rules are breaking the Gym's rules (unless you have a post on the Master Ref list that I'm missing). You can't ask another trader to send first just because you have a high value item. The rules are that lower ref sends first regardless.

I figured someone would of posted something like this. :rolleyes: My rules were old, from 2006, they have since been changed. How is it breaking the rules exactly?
Those with less refs will send first. Unless the one with more agrees differently.

If they don't agree, they don't have to trade, so... what exactly? Odd, I thought I did post in that thread long ago, although I guess I don't see it now. :confused: If I was actually still trading, and knew the thread would be locked, I would have. To be honest, I'm not even sure why this list was even brought up, unless I am missing something.

Regardless, would you send a sealed box to someone who has been here less than a month and offering you everything you could ever want for it, while people were posting their doubts about him? Doubtful. Point is: Being cautious, in my eyes, saved my box and prevented someone who could of been new to the gym (low refs) from being exploited. He may or may not be a good trader, I don't know. I am simply posting my cautious experience with him.
 
Does anyone know anything about Sparky or Pikadino. I'm a first time trader and I want to make sure they are trustworthy.
 
Has anyone traded with Desmond? Anything I should know about this guy?

He said he shipped his cards out on Sat. of last week. Five days later, I'm receiving cards from other people that shipped out on Monday. No Desmond package yet.

I just received his card today. From making/finalizing the deal to receiving his end took only three days. I didn't have any problem with him.

ok i have 2 questions

1.Am i allowed to back out of a trade with someone if i do not yet have their address

and

2. if i do back out can they give me a neg it seems they dont want to believe me

1) Yes, you are considered unconfirmed.

2) No, apparently no negative refs can be left since no one lost anything.

...feel free to reverify this with mods.

1. If BOTH have not gotten the address of the other trader YES you can back out.

2. They can not leave you a negative or even a neutral ref as the trade was not finalized.
 
ok well what should i do then because i just got a negative today because i backed out but he had my address but i never got his
 
Has anyone traded with Zmullen13? I sent him a Infernape 4 X and a few trainers for a Claydol and pokeball playmat. He said he recieved the cards on 23/09/09, and he said the playmat/claydol got lost in the mail. Anyone had a recent trade with him? Idk whether to report prob yet...

Rare do things get lost in the mail. 100+Trades I've only had 2 problems. 1 I think the guy was lieing and the 2nd was over seas.

yeah do it i had to and 2 days ago i got my stuff back i think he is one of those guys who got everythin he needed then took off with out sending myself i getting tired of peeps like that

no he is from cali i have his address around here somewhere i had to use it when i reported him
