Pokey - I'm having issues with brick11 now. Now that I see someone else is having issues, I'm probably going to leave negative. I sent first, a ninetails RH for an Azelf LA. He sent the cards, but when I got them, I got only an empty envelope. The envelope was open. I went down to the post office and they got my number and said they'd look for the card, but nothing ever came of it. I PM'd him for a week to work out replacement cards, which we did, and have heard nothing from him for 2 weeks. I sent my end of the deal almost two full months ago... -_-;;; It looks like he actually DID sent the card in the first place, but I have no way of knowing. And secondly, its his responsibility to tape the envelope shut. As the person at the post office pointed out, the back of the envelope where the adhesive is didn't even look like it had ever been sealed. So who knows, he coulda just sent an empty envelope... :/

A WORD TO THE WISE: If someone has something in their sig already trying to make excuses for not sending their cards quick, DO NOT TRADE WITH THEM. It's a warning sign that they'll likely forget they made a trade with you in the first place. Yes, I understand that there are more important things in life than pokemon and sometimes things happen. I learned my lesson with this the hard way.
 
nobodys- desmond and birck are regarding my trades. Im bout to give Brick11 a negative if I don't get a response from him this weekend.
as it is right now, i think it's under control and should be fine, there seemed to be a lil misunderstanding and I think it should be fine EP is aware of the situation and I'll be updating him. i don't think anything bad's going to happen now.
 
If someone hasn't sent there cards in over three weeks and I've been holding the cards can I leave them a neutral ref for wasting my time?
 
pkm4 - ive done it for them not sending for a month. mods conveyed this was okay to me, so I think it'd be okay for u at 3 weeks...
 
A page or so ago, someone asked about Sapphdrg. I'll just like to update my input based off of recent events.

Please be aware of this person. They will try to scam you.

We made a deal for his Azelf Lv. X and a handful of my reverse holo's. I'm not exactly sure what I sent him at first, but it wasn't anything major. He had less refs then me, so he sent first.

When I got his Azelf, it was in horrible condition. It was almost ripped in half--as in, the picture was almost torn off from the "Pokemon" backing--and it had lots of little bends and scratches. I didn't pursue further action. I figured that he sent his half, so I must do the same. The last thing I need is to ruin my reputation on here and not have a chance at trading anymore.

I sent him my end. He said that he received my end with a torn envelope and no cards inside. Anyone in the United States should know that you can't mail ripped envelopes; obviously this was an issue during shipment.

He threatened me with all kinds of mail fraud filings and negative references. We spoke and I decided to go ahead and compensate him for the damage done to the original cards, and send him some more cards of his choosing. I sent these out a while ago, and haven't heard from him since. Today, I check my e-mail and I get a "bad trader" warning from Da Tribunal, issued by Sapphdrgn.

Please be cautious with this person. They will try to get extra cards from you, and still try to shame your name.

i personally know him in real life. he is not a ripper in any way but sometimes his cards are in bad condition. i got a Mewtwo X from him at league and it had a paint splatter thing on it. i got a Mesprit LA in the mail with no toploader. it was bent and kind of scratched. he is gone for a week at a camp thing that is why you have not heard a response. i can get you an answer on Tuesday night when i talk to him.

I'm just trying to find out why he's still trying to make me seem like a bad trader when I did send my end of the original deal, and even compensated his loss with more cards. It's not my fault if things get messed up in the mail, but I will try and fix what I can.
 
okay i can talk to him on Tuesday and whip him into shape(not literally) but PM me if you have any more problems with him. i may have less refs but i have been on multiple sites trading and no what its like.
 
Anyone have an ongoing trade with Octillery49? He was supposed to have sent out over 3 weeks ago, but...nada.

Thanks, I do appreciate it. I really do hope this mess gets fixed, considering that I do like trading on here.
 
Okay I need some feedback. Ry guy and myself have been going back and fourth with offers. He/she sends me a PM and says he/she no longer wants to do the trade. He says that his friend Gibbeh will take over the trade instead and makes a different offer concerning the same cards I wanted. This sounds fishy to me and I would like feedback from anyone that has traded with any of these people before and this type of situation.

rule of thumb that I follow (for 99% of the time):

1) if they're friends and the take over each others trade negotiations, chances are its a scam.

2) if they've got more refs than me and pass you over to another user - chances are its a scam.

I haven't traded with either and I'm not saying they're rippers or anything, but unless they're sending first (fewer refs than you PKM4) - I wouldn't do it.
 
Still haven't heard from him (brick11).

Another one to watch out for : Lucario Aura Wielder. He has been PM'ing me, but it's over a month later and still no cards so I'm done. He also changed the trade because he said he didn't have a card that was on his list (this was four weeks after exchanging addresses).
