So, I talked to a guy from China and this is what he said....
Base set was printed in Traditional Chinese in Taiwan. Hong Kong cards and Simplified print were fake. So that means there is only one variation of Base set after all... However, it seems that there was more than just that.
EX Legend Maker was also printed in Chinese. It seems they were trying to start up their own organized play, but it didnt pan out. Also, it seems that the EX Trainer Kits for Plusle and Minun were printed as well. I dont yet know if there are any other sets, but this seems to be it. I also dont know about 1st editions for this set or RH, although the source does not show either.
Chinese Sets:
Base - 1st edition and Unlimited
EX Legend Maker
EX Trainer Kit Plusle (fixed set of 30 cards)
EX Trainer Kit Minun (fixed set of 30 cards)
He will most likely get back to me tomorrow and I can learn if there was anything else or any RH versions of the cards.
