With all of the Redshark tournaments going on, I figured that I would have one for old skool cards! There are just a few restrictions...

ALL CARDS FROM BASE-NEO ARE LEGAL!!!

EXCEPT: Slowking and Sneasel.

WE ARE ALSO GOING BY THE CLASSIC RULES!:
1) Mulligan draws are 1 OR 2 cards.
2) Trainers may be played T1

RULE CHANGES:
1) Neither player may play trainers on their first turn.
2)Whenever a card refers to Poke-Bodies or Poke-Powers, both will apply to Pokemon-Powers. Also, when a card refers to Pokemon Powers, it will apply to both Poke-Bodies and Poke-Powers (not a rule change, just making others aware).
3)You may change decks in any way between rounds.

There will be an unlimited # of players in 4 round swiss, with Top 4 cut.
Rounds will be best 2/3, with 1 week rounds.

The Hamachi room will be:

unlimited pokemon

Password: unlimited

(case sensitive)

Post any questions/signups on this thread. I will get a bracket up when we have players.

When you signup, please post your hamachi name so we know who you are in tournament.

ALSO: Could someone with a Pokebeach account post this on Pokebeach as well so we can get players from there?

Same Q here. I get Slowking and SER, but CPU Search or IF seems like a fairer ban than GOW. I think I might have to re-download Redshark just to play in this. This isn't me signing up, just putting in my two cents before I decide to sign up.
 
There's a tournament organizer in VA where I am from who has unlimited tournaments, and he bans those three cards. If you all want it changed, then I'll change it.

What is IF?

If its an unlimited touny than no cards should be ban
IF, Comp search, Gust, and Slowking should be legal
Slowking was banned for modified but in unlimited, anything should be allowed
and Comp search is a staple in any unlimited event so it would be stupid to ban it
and SER... no way

Why no haymaker, and why is mulligan draw 1 or 2? and why are Scyther, Electabuzz and Hitmonchan not legal?

These bans keep changing. Sneasel/Slowking will just run rampant with this format.
 
Because Haymaker would destroy this format...

I forgot about Sneasel/Slowking... I'll unban Haymaker, and Reban Sneasel/Slowking THAT IS FINAL!!!!!

Because in the original rules, you could draw up to 2 for mulligans. ...by Neo was it still this way? I need confirmation. All I know is that when the "Classic 3" sets were out it was draw up to 2.

I would like t ojoin please....altho I do not think its a good idea to have to many tournaments going at once....

it also doesn't make sense to ban only 1 broken deck and keep teh other

either keep both or ban both so this tourney doesn't become a big mirror
