Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

cleffa will Eeeek once again!

It's so bad......I hate that Cleffa. I played in Modified format just to get away from cards like these (though my old riptide deck has 4 of them and i have 4 more in binder). Anyway , wish the'd give it just 30 HP to balance it's almighty power for the metagame...

Is everyone ignoring Cleffa's family members? Clefairy... Clafable ex...

Besides, the GS/SS Clefable could use Cleffa's Eeeeek with Meteor Falls out :thumb:

that is a really good point! but if it has the same HP what is the point? We need a non ex clafable so we can meteor falls to eeek and have 80 HP!

The GS/SS Clefable has 80 HP.

clefable ex sucks its one of the worst ex pokemon ever
Not so. It can copy it's opponents attacks without a flip. That's always useful.

Cleffa has 50HP, so you have to deal 30 damage from a fighting pokemon to T1 or T2 KO it. Nothing different from T1 or T2 KO'ing Dunsparce.

Clefable ex really isn't bad at all. Just nobody's really put any effort into building a tourney-worthy deck with it.

its a bad ex pokemon
1. 100 hp eats it alive
2. no poke power or body
3.CC for 40 isnt really that good for an ex
4.CC to copy a move can suck some times
5. its fat

So any ex with 100HP is automatically bad?

Actually, having 100HP is kinda bad because 90HP is better.

Although if this is a negative, I'd love to see you pull that against Rayquaza.

2. no poke power or body

Rayquaza ex doesn't have one either... does that make it bad?

3.CC for 40 isnt really that good for an ex

It's stable enough, and is a good "makeup" for if the opp tries to stall its next attack...

4.CC to copy a move can suck some times

...which will only really be bad if he's against a Basic (ie Dunsparce) which Moon Impact can take care of without TOO much difficulty.

fable ex is quite good but the problem that people run into is that 1. it has 100 which is the worst an ex can have due to Ancient Ruins and the volcanic ash to the bench >_< and 2. it has never had a stable deck that could play it effectivly. Cleffa will be a card seen in modifed, even more so after worlds but I don't think its evo's will make the cut in most decks.

also quaza was combined with blaze which made it good clefable die cuz of desert ruins and 2 prizes and it's moves arent very good. weak to fightning which can be bad. all in all its no a good card. i am happy cleffa isnt brokn this time

Gotta admit it would make an interesting twish to see a cleffa with a variation of eeek.

I gotta admit that it woul be a pain to deal with in modified with the reversals, sally powers and other ways to be dragged up but to get a pokemon up that can get 2-3 eeeek's off would be great in a deck because it gives your opponent a second chance if he goes first and gets a bad hand.

Plus even with evolving just use meteor falls to use eeek while you evolved

You're brining up Rayquaza's weakness? If you think it's worse than Clefable's, just consider a little card called Crystal Shard...
