Bought 16 blister pack boosters from Wal Mart last night to hold me over till my box arrives on Monday, and had amazing luck: 2 EXs and a Shiny,
My Pulls:

1 Holo Cinccino
2 Amonguss
1 Arcanine
1 Weaville
1 Zebstrika
1 Simisage
1 Pinsir

If the packs that are placed in these blisters are not as structured as ones that go into boxes then maybe these are the way to go in terms of booster buying? I bought less than half a box and got the same or better results in pulls then people who are buying boxes.

This. This is what I did when I first got back into the TCG a few months back. I bought blister boxes of older HGSS sets from Dave and Adams. The boxes were only 50 bucks or so and came with 24 blisters. The more recent ones I bought were 2 boxes of Trimphant (48 packs total) and I pulled 4 Yanmega Prime( which I was stoked at the time since they hadnt dropped in price yet) 1 Magnezone, 2 Electrode Prime, and a couple others that I cant remember, but I pulled about 10 primes in total out of 48 packs, which was only about 100 bucks!
Also, just an FYI for those interested in giving this theory a shot- T&T just put up single blisters of ND for only 2.39 a pack! It comes out to about 85 or so for 36 packs and from my experience with blisters will probably yield better contents than if you bought a single booster box instead.

I'm almost certain they have been weighed. Blisters are light enough to weigh out the Fa at least

Just starting to get back into pokemon with a buddy, and he was able to recover his old deck, but unfortunately mine was missing. So stopped at walmart today and bought a ND theme deck to start building off and decided to get 7 blisters (was going to get 4 and a mewtwo box, glad i didnt!) one of the additional packs I picked instead of the mewtow box has a full art 98/99 mewtwo EX!!! So happy since my first two boosters were junk. 4 more to open, don't care what they have now though I can resell this mewtwo EX and pay for most of the costs of a full box of ND now

If you can find a case for $500 please tell me. I pre ordered mine for $510 and thought that was a steal. Most cases I've seen have been going for around $550 or so.
Do you believe thats why they are selling them so cheap? The ones I got from D&A were both in brown boxes that fit exactly 24 packs and sealed and marked on the outside what set they were.... hmmm...
I should have tested this theory out earlier I bought 7 boosters and one was a FA.
Edit: my scale isn't the most accurate but weighing a Non holo, holo, reverse holo, and the FA mewtwo EX, all resulted in 1.8-1.9g just depending on where i put it on my scale. So I would say this wouldn't work unless you had a very accurate scale.
Well thats somewhat of a relief. I ordered 24 ND blisters and Ill be very angry if it appears that they were weighed so I dont get anything decent. I have an older small scale I used to weigh, um, bags with when I was younger- perhaps that would be accurate enough? Its a pretty decent scale and hasnt had much use. I think ill use it to weigh them myself and test this theory for myself. Thanks for the input

If they were sealed cartons, then obviously they weren't weighed. I've seen them being stocked at walmart and you have described the distributor packaging. I would be concerned when they come individually. More likely to be suspect. I'm not saying they are for certain, just that maybe.....
Well thats what Im afraid of with T&T. I ordered 24- but there im almost positive they wont come in the distributor packaging like D&As did- since I bought them by the "blister box" from them instead of selecting 24 sealed blisters. Anyways, I should have them by Friday and we will see then!

Yeah, definitely post your pack data on my post about it. And as a reminder, make sure you record the packs in the exact order you get them in!!
Also, I suggest we move any discussion about the print run (specificially that which is related to questions like "what can we find out about the common and uncommon print run") to my other post, so that this post can remain about discussions of just what one's rare pulls were and the apparent rarity of certain cards over others. 'K??
