Couple of Fall Ex Tin ?

I've split a case of the new tins with a friend, we didn't pull much. The most notable pulls are as follows: 1 Terrakion EX, 1 Good Hydreigon, 1 Garbodor A Reverse, 1 Gothitelle Reverse, 1 Reuniclus Reverse, 1 Samurott Holo, 1 Ninetales reverse, 2 Sigilyph. Out of 9 packs no catcher... but I bought another tin because I was dissapointed and I pulled a reverse catcher. :D

My Walmart did the same. I was actually impressed, it seemed like they were showing more love to the games.

1 rayquaza ex
2 thunduras FA
1 reshiram FA
1 catcher

pretty disappointed.
 
I know that the customer service dept of our 2 local Walmarts informed me that they merely rent space to a third party vendor, for the tcg section. While front end employees are supposed to be tasked with maintaining the "fronting/facing";the actual product itself is determined by and displayed via the vendor.

As for the contents of the packs that were in the 7 tins we puchased, we opened 8 of the dragons exalted packs. All the others were returned/traded. Of those packs that were opened, the only thing of $ value was 1 hydreigon. From what everyone is describing it seems that the tin packs are as random as the booster packs. I hope that Boundaries Crossed has a better correlation than DRX.

Anyhow bought a Rayquaza & Mewtwo. They were $15.98 each.
Got a full art Zekrom.
The other day I had bought a Victini tin (still $19.98) and got a Full Art Terrakion.
Got a Kyurem Ex Tin at Target, nothing good. Except the price which was $14.99.

Are the Reshiram & Zekrom Ex cards decent?
They still had those at both places.

My Walmart did this too. Do you by any chance live in Wisconsin?
 
Yeah I live near Austin.

Got the Zekrom Ex & Reshiram Ex Tins as well & got nothing good.

Only reason I post on Pokegym is cause it was the first Pokemon message board I joined.

Yep, that was last week. Of course Toys R Us Tins are generally $5 more, aren't they? So a tin at wmart or target is $16 is usually $22 at TRU. (anyone have any specific prices on that?)

I suppose you are still saving a few bucks. but I hate supporting Toys R Us' price gouging.
 
It's sad that the "flagship" store for the franchise is so expensive when it comes to the tcg. I will say though, that TrU had the best deal on the B/W games. Buy one get one half off. And they had these cool stylus/cleaner/mini case sets that they gave away FREE to everyone that bought the combo. How cool was that? But those tins were marked $21.99. I'd be interested to find out how much they cost at the Pokemon Center.

Still comes out a bit cheaper, though I'm with you, I generally hate supporting them. My local store gave me a better deal on my case than I could find anywhere. If a small, locally owned store can do THAT, why is TrU charging 38% higher than MSRP? Baffles me...the only time I ever buy anything from there is when the have their huge Christmas sales.
 
Boy do I have odd luck with tins...

Since I needed some ability Emboars I got 2 of the tins for that.

In the first tin got a Lanturn Prime (nothing good in any of the Black & White stuff).
In the 2nd got a Tyranitar Prime (Max potion in one pack).

Did not spot anything new (Dragon Vault or Keldeo Box).
