Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Cursegar VS. Magnezone engine?

In my opinion:

1 DP (to give free retreat);
1 Lv.X (to move the energies between your Pokémon so Spiritombs, Mimes etc. retreat for free)
1 SF Metal (to speed set-up)
1 SF Electric (Main attacker, and can make itself tougher w/ Special Metals if Lv. Up)

You'd have to run Azelf (keep Spiritomb in front to deny Sprays) and take a while to set-up, but recovers from faster than CurseGar. E/R Legend for surpirse multiple KO's, especially with Magnezone X moving the energies.

I may try this sometime. I enjoy Cursegar's spread, but when the Gengar is killed, you are in a hard spot, most of the time. This recovers faster, although it needs a higher Night Maintenance count.

In the 09 Dutch Nats, a guy made T8 with Flygon-Magnezone, banking mostly on Metal Zone to get his setup, and then use Zone X for paralysis, then bounce back to the bench using Lightning Zone. Tricky deck to play against.
