D/P Cloning Glitch!

Just for clarification, it isn't technically a glitch.
It's exploiting the system.
That explains why it's so hard.

If I may...
You post your Pokemon on.
When the clock is going, the game is in the process of writing your Pokemon onto the server and deleting it from your game pak.
The time to cut the power is between when the game writes it onto the internet and when it erases it from your game.

This relies far less on your distance from the source of internet.
The signal has the same strength all the time, and never differes within the same radius.
However, the nature of the internet is that it's speed changes depending on a number of factors.
This leads to say that the window of time in which there is theoretically "two" Pokemon changes every time you do it.

Someone tell me if I'm just BSing.

That sounds liek it might work too.
But Nintendo make update it to where you can searchfor them once thay putup a better firewall.

But with Japanese connectivity, Darkrai is legally obtainable anyhow. But alas, 99% of them will be clones or hacks so it's worthwhile disabling it.

That's like saying, "I'm not cheating; I'm just breaking the rules for my own advantage." Alternatively, "It's not a glitch because it's hard to do."

You're just BSing.

Besides, if everyone else is doing it, you're simply remaining par to others.

"It's okay to cheat, because everyone else is cheating"? What, would you jump off a bridge if everyone else was doing it?

He asked to let it be known if he was BSing. Thus, I let him know.

What you just described is exactly what the original cloning trick is.Both do rely on how far away you are from your router as it takes longer to communicate the farther you are away.

I haven't had any success with this at all. Every time the the clock is different no matter how many times I do it in the same area.

Actually, the big advantage of cloning is to get more trades for more clones for more trades. 10 minutes ago, I put a L100 Jirachi (I realised he was hacked as he was caught in a master ball [groan]) up, asking for a L50+ Rampardos. I check now, and I have a legit L60 Rampardos. You can basically get pokés for nothing as you're only trading a clone away.

That was what I was evil grinning about. You're scamming people. If you ever get a pokemon over the GTS with a letter attached that says "You've been scammed by King Nate III", then you'll know it was from me.

If they wanted a Pikachu and I gave them a Pikachu, how are they being scammed? Now, I was scammed when I was given a L100 jirachi that was a hack!!

OMG! What a scam!

I send my little blob of 1s and 0s to his game, and get a completely different set of 1s and 0s back!!

Some people take this game far too seriously.

F_S wins the Electronic games forum. So what if we said every thought, experience and atom of yourself was expressed in ones and zeros? Would you care THEN?!

It's Nintendo's fault, they're surely aware of the existence of this, but yet they have done nothing! That means we have permission, if it was not allowed then they'd do something. Maybe the Wifi agents will stop this.
