Hi folks. Yeah, I put my foot in my mouth again. Sorry everyone. I can't say that anyone has posted the deck WPM is talking about, and I can't say the deck wouldn't stand up in this meta. I find it weird how I said it wouldn't stand up in this meta yet I show interest in this deck. One thing I did mean to say was that Japan's meta is different than ours so this deck might not do as well as it did or it might do better.
Onto another subject, I agree with Dark Umbreon on a few issues. I don't think healing is needed at all. 80HP isn't a lot and stuff is going to KO it or OHKO weither or not you heal. I like dunsparce, but I feel for a good T2 Dark Slowking, it might not be as consistant. You would need to draw into the swoop in the 1/2nd turn. Also, it would almost be useless mid-late game. The best you could do is drop the Dunsprace, and swoop for the Slowpoke. Actually, now that I think about it, if the T2 swoop could happen, Dunsparce would work pretty nicely in this deck. You don't run Celio, so you have to draw into the Slowpoke, and it would speed up the deck if you could drop the dunsparce and swoop to find the slowpoke, then evolve. I would probably run it though. What would this deck list take out though, the claw fossil? I like the idea of a little claw fossil wall every now and then.
With dunsparce, the deck could actually have something to stall with against Zapdos. Let zap take the first dunsparce and send up another, and then send up a Dark Slowking and discard 3 tools to deal 110 damage and even the game up on prizes and most likely have an advantage, if the zapdos had the only 3 energy on it.
Like I said, I faced a friend at a small tournament and I was very impressed with Dark Slowking. So I'd like to learn the most I can about this deck. Would ATM Ice go well in this deck? It's a tool(wait, no it's a technical machine, darn), but it could knock out the opponent's stadium and provide Dark Slowking with some protection. But I don't see THAT many decks running Battle Frontier too.
EDIT: About the gym, I don't know. I could the deck running Battle Frontier, for a little disruption at a cost, or Desert Ruins to fight those nasty 150HP pokemon, or Rocket's Hideout to give Dark Slowking 100HP, which is very cool. I know I just pretty much copycatted that guy before me, but whatever. If I had to choose one, I would go Desert Ruins. But that is if I would play a counter gym in the first place. I do feel 150HP EX's have a good chance against Dark Slowking.
