not true. you should never have more than 1 fossin in play at a time. if your fossil is koed by atm ice or koed by a 50 damage attack, what's the difference? you bring up a new fossil.

A good point, but then you're going to HAVE to run rare candies so your 4x Nincada don't get sniped.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

i would go like this with your list

Pokemon:9
4x Nincada DX
4x Shedinja DX
1x Minun DX

I think the Minun is a really, really, really bad idea.
In a game where you need to give up 0 prizes, Minun is pretty much just bait.

then y not simply play mary's request?
if yor opponent wants to draw when they see what you are playing, they either
A. need cards
B. know they can put cards back in so they dont deck out
C. know the odds are small of decking out in a 30 min game

yeah, i decked out at the GC in coral springs, that was annoying...
yeah, i c ur guys point, field worker works

I disagree with fieldworker in that deck, unless you're hoping to N00b your opp.
I mean, its like was already said - if they need the card THAT badly, why give it to them?
I prefer Mary's.

If you're so afraid of your Nincada getting sniped, why not just play Swoop instead of Rare Candy? It seems a lot better. (Swoop a Fossil into Nincada and evolve)

Pooka, can I hire you to make a deck for me? You always seem to have the answears!

It's truly pathetic that you guys can't even think of swoop! in the deck...
How are people so BAD at deck-building?

It's a 30 minute game, if you're dumb enough to deck, you deserve it. Simply count your cards, play admin/copycat... or just don't use draw later in the game. One should virtually NEVER deck.

Fieldworker is a horrible card. If you think you'll deck your opponent with it, or it'll help you deck them, you're praying more for idiocy than for luck.

I don't think people are bad at deck building...I mean, not everyone has hours upon hours to work on pokeymanz.

Ryan, I was joking. I consider myself to be at least a decent deckbuilder, and rather good with sarcasm.

Swoop! Teleporter seems only like a strong play vs. LBS or decks that uses Steelix ex. Let's look at the big picture too, because we can agree Shedinja Stall have specific weaknesses that needs to be taken account of:

-Nincada getting sniped by Steelix ex
-Latios d/Latias d that shuts down Poke-Bodies from evolved non Pokemon-ex.
-Specific attacks that can de-evolve Shedinja and achieve KO at the same time - such as ATM: [Rock] and Mew ex HP's Devo Crush.

I think the biggest threats against Shedinja Stall are Raichueggs.dec, Mewtric, LBS, and Rock Lock.

-Effects of attacks can be neutralized with Holon Energy WP and Water Energy.
-Curse Powder vs. Swoop! Teleporter - I can assume my opponent is smart enough not to leave Steelix ex unless he/she can snipe a Nincada or something for a prize. So Swoop! Teleporter is still questionable even vs. LBS
-I will post a new list soon, but the toughest puzzle to solve would be the Latios d/Latias d. If you guys can help me with your suggestions, that'll be great.

Nincada and Shedinja have 50hp, so I don't see how you plan on using ATM Rock to devolve a shedinja and get a KO...

There are only four pokemon that I know of that can ATM Rock/Devo Flash and get a KO.
Walrein ex
Typhlosion UF
Victreebel RG
Tyranitar (Sand-Damage)(and they have to be benched)

Other than that, you can't ATM Rock for a prize, unless the Shedinja has 40hp on it, and you can place a damage counter in-between turns...

The biggest threat to Shedinja is virtually EVERY deck.
Queen can attack for 50 many times by turn three or turn two. You only place 2 counters on it, and your gyms don't hurt it. They can OHKO a fossil/shedinja every turn, and it would take 4 turns to build enough damage on it to ATM Rock it for a KO, and by then a Briney would be played, or the player would simply retreat it for a new Nidoqueen.

Liability is even more dangerous, since they play energy root. A rooted 130hp typhlosion would need to be hit 5 times to get enough damage for an ATM Rock KO. Other than that, you get OHKO'd every single turn.

Mewtric and you can't play fossils.

Eggs hits everything on the field for 20 and barely gets scratched by you, not to mention free retreat and your stone/ruins does nothing.

20, 20, 20-OOPS KO for EVERYTHING.

Let's see... LBS can snipe your Nincadas, so you either need to swoop or use rare candy.
Mewtric can also snipe your Nincadas and prevent new fossils from being laid.

Dragtrode is probably in your favor, since they are really hurt by cursed stone. They can't lay electrodes down or else they'll give prizes, and attacking with sneasel would be suicide. But even then, the ability to lay 4 dark on a sneasel and drag off prizes any time you lay a nincada will NOT sit well. It's still an iffy matchup.

So, against any decent player, you have a bad matchup for almost every popular deck being played right now.

Mewtric
Reggs
Queen
LBS
Liability
Dragtrode is iffy...

I think the only deck you literally do WELL against is cham, mynx, and lunasol.

Firstly for a grinder Shedstal is an ok choice, I given it extensive testing and it can win a 30 minute game with ease in lower level tourneys, however once you get to somthing an hour long your going to go out. This is a very intelligent deck choice for your grinder. However I would say that this deck would loose to players who know how not to deck out (ie Admin etc) so I personnally wouldn't pick it.

My best suggestion for Lati@s is Space centre, it would also help a little against Lunarock (reversal out a Solrock dx, drop in space centre and you have two extra turns). Then again against Lunarock all you have to do is get Ninjask out so thats not realy needed).

However getting that Space centre to stay in play is more difficult...

I was afraid of ATM too, when I played ShedStall, but then, I realized Shedinja and Nincada have the same HP.

Shedinja Stall can beat BLS. It's hard, but if you Rare Candy your Nincadas while they're benched (if Steelix EX is out), you don't have to worry about your opponent getting a prize.

Lati@s d can be big problem, as well as a few other unfavorable matchups, but I think a 2-1-2 Jumpluff makes the deck able to take on a few more threats. It brings down the consistency of the deck, but makes it a little versatile (NOTE: my version went 2-4 at Rockville GC, so I'm no expert on this deck).

The best advice for this deck would be to prepare for a mirror match with ATM Ice. Or to metagame all the other people who will be playing ShedStall and just play T2 Houndoom. Now that everyone knows that ShedStall is good for the grinder, expect it to be metagamed.

Perhaps you can get some advice from this guy; He seems to be an expert on this deck.
