Of course I got my idea for this post from Ampharos fobia, but I think it is needed so people won't be afraid to play with pokebodies.

How would you guys deal with Dialga G? Is there an answer for him like theres an answer for Amphy?
What do you do? please post your comments and concerns.
 
First it's spelt PHobia.

Second. In testing if you can get a quick lock it's really hard to get dialga out. I mean most lists only play a 1-1 tech so theres always the chance that it's prized or they can't get it quicly. LV. max is flippy and it has 2 retreat so it's hard to lv it up.

Third dusknoir is the best tech against it. I mean claydol gets locked so they play down at least 1 or 2 uxies down. Plus that locked claydol plus diaga. thats 3 or 4 bench right there but put the main attacker in and that takes 1 or 2 more spaces and dusknoir says hi. Etiehr scooping up their main attacker or the diaga.

About retreating, Regigigas destroys that, it has soooo many switching options.

Dusknoir does kill it, but by the time I'm all set up in Gigas I pretty much only have Gigas, Dialga G, Palkia, and Uxie in play, enough to avoid it.

Any deck running 1-1 of ANYTHING will be running Azelf.

Well if regi kills amphy anyways. The only thing regi loses to is rampardos and a contious mesprit lock but this is about diaga.

Also about azelf. Any good amphy list runs dusknoir so go ahead waste yet another bench spot for azelf. It only helps me :lol:

Also scizor just dies to diaga unless it takes a while to get out. Torterra is enough of a tank to still win the game unless diaga gets out like T3 which will almst never happen. I mean terra has it's own energy accel plus if I'm behind I can just lv. up and kill it because of misma. I can't really remember what else is extreamly hurt by dialga.
 
nothing snipes for 120. You would have to combine something that hits for 120 with Palkia Lv.X for the kill.

Unlike Amphy, I'm scared of Dialga. But by the time both of my decks reach absolute potential, Dialga will be dead

wow theirs one card that kills that idea and its called POWER SPRAYYYY lol so ya that idea went nowhere fast
 
@Dustinmoe - Power Spray only kills 4 powers, unless you play Marley. And even if you can't warp point can still work, sorta. But Palkia is the play, and there are other powers for them to waste power spray off on, Cosmic Power being the most prominent,
 
now see that the funny thing ,they will play marleys they wont waste a spray on a uxie or cosmic if they know they need em for palkia sooo idk lol
 
Dusknoir X + Shadow command Dusknoir, 120 damage, there you go :p(Since Dusknoir X has 140 HP)

I really do not see Dialga G X gonna be a big problem, on;y way I'LL run it is in my G deck.
 
Dialga G is not a huge problem to work against. but it's a great card to tech in. the real problem here is will people be playing dialga g because people are playing ampharos or will ampharos not be as big as people expect and thus dialga isn't played at all?

Dialga G destroys more than just the Ampharos matchup, therefore its playability is semi-independent of Ampharos' popularity.
 
Not every deck with a prominent body folds to Dialga G. Amphy / Trick comes close unless it's facing a water deck, but aside from that it's not a given IMHO. Torterra for instance has the potential to bring Dialga active and whack on it.

Dialga G isn't simple to get out in most random decks. The body players are going to have some time to do their stuff most games. Scizor for instance will probably take some prizes before dialga gets into play. With enough of a lead they can win without the bodies.

I seriously beg to differ.

Shaymin Lv.X gave the Grass type the biggest boost any type has ever received.

Palkia is crap.

Do you seriously know how many bodies are out there?

Once again, Palkia G is not a good level X

Hah, Shaymin Sky Lv. X, Drapion, and Palkia G are the worst LV. X's in the set. Palkia G is ONLY good in Blastoise.

I'll laugh hysterically when Ampharos shuts off your Palkia G Lv. X.
