Dialga/Palkia G DECK?

i'm playing something else for regionals. could use some help tweaking it though...

Me and Chris took 1st and 2nd at states with identical Galactic lists, and it doesn't look like any of the stuff posted here.

The 'gym was very very very behind for states. I remember seeing a bunch of kids post that Dialga G was a tech pokemon, and for some months we've had our deck ready. We were obscenely confident in our decks.

In swiss, my party only lost to each other, showing the true domination of Galactic. And when an identical list takes 1st and 2nd (delta nats???) it really establishes itself.

You guys are pretty far behind =(

Ryanvergel was in fact, one of those kids.

This kinda post annoys me. Whenever somebody feels so superior that they must publicly gloat, but cannot willingly help another person...

Either post something constructive or don't post.

What's the point of helping people who will not listen and won't be grateful for the help?

If I recall, most of the good players on the gym swore not to help about a year and a half ago, you guys didn't seem to care then, so most of the good players left, with most of the remaining players either getting banned for life (such as Shellshocker, Sparta, Adam Garcia, Desert Eagle, ect). The ones who remain are apparantly keeping their word.

Incase of tl:dr, deal with it.

*shrugs* If you don't want to help, that's your own business. I wasn't here when those events happened, so I'm not about to comment on it. I'm not suggesting you reveal deck lists or help people you don't want to help.

But is it truly necessary to come out here just to say, "Ha ha, I've got a winning decklist and you don't "? I think it's rather unnecessary.

Not necessary, no. But its unquestionably fun.

I respectfully disagree.

Now, to get back on topic...

I'd definately say you'd want Spiritomb and Crobat G to be at least around in a Palkia G deck. The idea is to spread damage, after all. And they'd help you get that damage spread, followed by a quick Lost Cyclone to get rid of them before you have to worry about them being sniped or clogging up your Bench.

Lots of 'play from hand' powers seems to be the name of the game, here. With Power Spray to ensure that you don't get locked in return.

^Good God hes learning....
Maybe a hint would push in the right direction...
...hmmm....
...sure, why not.

Using mostly pokemon who spread isn't using Palkia to his full potential, think, what other cards could be useful with lost cyclone Godzfirefly?

Another reasonable combination with the Lost Cyclone is Bronzong G. The 2 damage on the Bronzong seem a lot less harsh if you intend to get rid of the Bronzong soon after. This is especially true if you're using Rainbow Energy (attach the Rainbow to the Bronzong G, move it to the pokemon that needs it, then get rid of the Bronzong G that has 3+ damage counters on it.) That would also make it easier to save your Special Metal Energy from a failing Dialga.

some of these lists are close but, still people have no idea.

Are y'all looking for a specific response when you post things like that? Hoping to see people beg you for 'the secret' to your 'perfect list' or something? That way you can laugh privately at them? Seriously, that kind of thing bothers me beyond reason...:frown:

Without having seen the deck work, there are still a few things I can suppose about the deck list.

The Palkia G line almost has to run 3-1. The Dialga G line probably runs the same.
There are no doubt 4 Crobats, along with 4 Poketurns.
There would be 4 Power Sprays.
Bronzong G is just too juicy not to run. I'd suspect there are a pair of those in the deck to help Power Spray and keep Energy moving.
Mesprits seem to be a popular way to run with this deck. 4 Mesprits are probably common. After all, why go only half-way?
Uxie and Azelf no doubt make it in as well. No need to say why. Probably 4 Uxie (or 3-1 Uxie X) and 1 Azelf.
Spiritomb might see an appearance in the deck, it fits well.

Let's see...that brings the total pokemon to...23ish. Including 2-3 Level Xs...Huh, with 20 basics, even a bad start probably isn't an awful start. How often would you get only 1 Basic with that deck-build? Hmm...seems odd, though...

Trainer line should be fairly easy to divine, though...

Why wouldn't you just attach rainbow to Crobat G and then move it so that Bronzong doesn't take the extra damage and you can lost cyclone the crobat.

Because the Bronzong G is taking damage anyway from its PokePower. No reason to spread damage across multiple pokemon when 1 will do.

But, if you have a PokeTurn to pick the Crobat up or something, the Bronzong can last a bit longer that way.
