Straight from the testing grounds of... well, my brother's room (aka Team Nance Headquarters FTW!!! ROFL...), we bring to you the ultimate counter to the counter of the metagame's greatest counter ever!!! DISABLEYE (or... LIMEWTATION). Can't decide on a name yet. Sigh...

DiSableye

Pokemon:

4x Mew ex
4x Sableye (DX)
4x Eevee (CFF)
4x Vaporeon ex (DS)
2x Stantler
1x Dunsparce
1x Rayquaza ex
1x Celebi ex
2x Holon's Magneton

Trainers:

4x Mary's Request
4x T.V. Reporter
2x Fieldworker
3x PETM
3x Windstorm
4x Dual Ball
3x Great Ball

Energy:

4x Dark Energy
4x Multi Energy
4x Rainbow Energy
2x Dark Metal Energy

Deck Strategy: Kind of rough around the edges, but it goes something like this. On your first turn you use "Limitation" to keep your opponent from setting up. On your second turn you use Vaporeon ex's "Evolutionary Swirl" to give your opponent 4 cards, then copy Stantler's "Push Away" to discard one of those cards (hopefully there's a trainer there). On the third turn your copy Vaporeon ex's third attack to hit for 60 through whatever your opponent has left after all of the disruption. Crazy, huh? If you don't get the ideal Mew ex, you get set back a turn or two, but using "Limitation" keeps anyone from setting up. Trust me. Fixes are welcome, since this list is nowhere near perfect.

how do you do 60 turn 3 if you have to discard a dark to use limitation..>_> otherwise nice deck idea.

edit: Nvm just looked at sableye..>_> i was thinking of the ss one.

now people start to use Sabeleye....Swanton must be the starter of all pokemon...everytime he says something is good people deny it then he plays it and wins with it then people say it is good. TskTskTsk!!!

Since when have people used the Deoxys Sableye? And who is Swanton? He said something about using the CG Sableye for someone's SpeedBan, but other than that... ?

You do know that in your current list, there is not a single time where a pokemon has multiple enegy on them (1 of them being a multi) where the multi doesn't provide just C?

Umbreon ex or Espeon ex looks like a nifty addition to this list.

With so many basics though, I don't see how you can hope for any consistent start with a specific pokemon.

Good idea Mr. Pride

replace multi with waters and put in a holon engine

Umbreon* would be really good in here too

Use Vaporeons power, then Umbreons, then Push away to hopefully leave them at 2 cards.

If metanite is big near you, try some battle frontier too.

I'd probably try a tech Umbreon ex too.

I've been looking at Sableye for quite awhile now, there's definately something there. This is a neat idea and not too dissimilar to one I had which incidentally did run Vaporeon Ex as well as Umbreon Ex. Back when Jirachi was big I used it with Girafarig, with Foresight to stop them topdecking what they need. Sableye is probably more effective now than ever. With pretty much all decks relying on Mentor to setup there's less variety of weaknesses in the format needed to be manipulated.

Multi is obviously to increase the chances of a first-turn Limitation, which is neccesary to stop your opponent from using Mentor. The Balls are used over Mentor for the same reason, if you're going first you need to Limitation BEFORE you have a chance to use a Supporter. Essentially you want to win before your opponent can do anything.

For now this deck can be great, the D/P rule changes kinda mess it up though =/

Swanton=Colin M. The hottest pokemon player.

He's notorious for running really weird decks and winning beg.

I would drop celebi, and add in one umbreon or umbreon* at least. Umbreon's just too good not to use. Umbreon* being mentorable or lanette-able means you can drop their hand to 3 or 2 if you use stantler.

Also, I would use lanette's or something... it's just too good to get 3 pokemon, and you use such varied colors. Darkness, psychic, lightning, colorless. Either that or add in a holon engine.

And yeah, I would definitely drop multi. Unless it's by itself it will always provide colorless.

You already use 4/3 basic getters... why not just run a holon engine, that way you have more outs for draw too? More consistent that way.
Trainers:

4x Mary's Request
4x T.V. Reporter
2x Fieldworker
3x PETM
3x Windstorm
4x Dual Ball
3x Great Ball

-2 FW (ew)
-4 DB
-3 GB

+3 trans
+2 mentor
+2 adv
+1 sci
-1 TVR
-1 Mary's
+2 Lanette's Net Search

You still have 7 basic searching cards, but now you also have additional options for draw.
Up to 7 additional draw (4 trans, 2 adv, 1 sci).
I dropped 4 draw, but you really didn't actually "lose" any, unless you use 3 trans on mentor >_>.
I think scientist is still nice, because people play copycat, and if you can pull it off, you can scientist, and then drop vaporeon.

Either that or cut the scientist for another lanette or something.

I got bored and tried making my own list. Here it is.

Pokemon: 22

4x Mew ex
4x Sableye (DX)
4x Eevee (CFF)
4x Vaporeon ex (DS)
2x Stantler
1x Rayquaza ex
1 Umbreon *
2x Holon's Magneton

Trainers: 24

4x Mary's Request
4 Transceiver
2 Mentor
3x PETM
1 Adventurer
1 Farmer
3 Battle Frontier
2x Windstorm
2 Castaway
2 Strength Charm

Energy: 14

4x Dark Energy
4x Water
4x Rainbow Energy
2x Dark Metal Energy

I basically focused this on hoping to get a T2 50 and majorly disrupting your oponents start.

Stat with Mew, Mentor a Sabeleye, Eevee, and probably Umbreon*. Use Limitation.
Next turn, Hopefully evolve to Vaporeon, attach Castaway/Strength Charm for a T2 ko on Castform and also use Umbreon * to bring them down to 3 cards.

Thats the ideal hand though. I based that off of no testing whatsoever

what about a briney or two?

if you could lay down a vaporeon and an umbreon STAR (dropping them to 2 cards) and then use pull away they will either:
1) lose a trainer and go down to 1 card (2 after draw phase)
2) have 2 card (but no trainer) and don't setup for one more turn.

BTW i like this deck.
i think you neen umbreon as bannette could be a hard match (you don't let them discard supporter early but they can just evolve and hit mew for 60).
how does it work against flariados?
spinarak's and ariados special conditions could be a pain!

I've 3-1'd R-gon, which is saying something.

Also, I've only gotten a t1 limit off ONCE.

Nice deck here man. The only thing is, I myself don't really like the Multi energy since you're playing a load of special energy anyway. Could possibly find something better, like Warp or Cyclone or something to that extent. JMO.
Other then that though, the only other thing I'd say is actually go with some Lanette over the Dual Ball And Great ball. I think it'll be much more consistant. Also, why not try and fit BF or something into this deck, simply for more of a lock effect?

Out of 5 test games, I've gotten off a t1 limit once.

It's 3-2. Needs a castform for sure, and umbreon* is probably necessary.

The Holon Engine is good in this deck...Run 4 Mentor and 2 Lanettes because you want to get Sableye DX out as fast as possible....you want it as you starter...so you would also run atleast 2 Warp Points. Once you setup Sableyes then time to pwer up the Mew EX and after a few turns you start the carnage. I will make a list of this later on and post it.

Thanks for the replies guys. Yeah, I kind of thought that the Holon Engine would end up making its way in here, and I completely forgot that Umbreon * existed. Thanks for the help, and for the work on it. :thumb:
