DP3: "Shining (in the) Darkness" Japanese Spoilers

Why is that? What set are we getting before this set (other than DP2)?

It says DP3...

I am confused... can someone please explain this to me, cause I'm kinda POed right now, cause I was expecting to make a deck with these cards in time for cities... but if its DP4 that doesnt seem likely

So 2 cards are different from the original spoilers, Gallade and Mew. For Gallade your opponent chooses which benched Pokemon to bring up which makes it infinitely less playable. And Mew went from broken to useless.

Smeargle is pretty nice, ripping nrgs, works with Gatr obv and Blasty. Thins out the deck a bit too so you'll hit yuor guys/trainers quicker. Palkia LvXs power is amazing. As is MINUNs, omg Minun is really good.

Darkrai Lv X's PokeBody is trash. Seriously. People talking about Weavile and such - no, just no. Its not worth playing just for the Body. Ever. The attack is all it has going for it. And x2 Fighting weakness is really bad.

Re: Sally; 140HP is amazing but the card is only really good with Basic Waters. Which I guess would make Blasty the only option. Now if PK had reprinted RS Swampert rather than Blaze which got an update in Typhlo anyway, this may have been better. But its really clunky as it is.

Oh and remember, guys; THIS IS DP4, NOT DP3. We don't get it until NEXT YEAR. There's another set between Mysterious Treasures and this, so let's just wait and see.

how did u find out it's DP4 and not DP3
 
Shining Darkness is the movie set, like EX Legend Maker, and EX Deoxys. They are always pushed back to around the release of the movie.
 
Okay Everyone, calm down.

I will explain here.

DP3 the above set is indeed DP3. However Dom confused everyone by what he said. So lets pretend he didnt say this wasnt DP3, because it 100% is. However, I think a clearer way of saying it would of been to say. We wont be getting this set til May of next year since their will most likely be getting DP4 (whatever it maybe) first. This is just speculation however based on previous years, I would say his statement is very fact based and could be completely true. However there is the off chance that the Movie gets release in Feb. which means so would the set. However I dont feel that is the case and 100% agree with Dom.

Yeah sorry guys, what I meant to say is it (probably) will be the 4th US DP set. For the reasons WPM & Drew already explained. I'm quite surprised no one mentioned it already though.

Its still technically DP3 =D
 
Good job. It'll help me on my efforts to organize the Japanese set to my liking.
 
this set is so good... soooooooooo good. ridiculously good. i hope its legal for cities, so i can make decks for other people to play.

Correct.

Here is what I feel the breakdown (Starting From Right After Worlds) of what Sets/Events will be -

Late August - DP2/MT
Sept-October - Battle Roads
Late Oct./Early Nov. - Next Set
November - Jan - Cities
Feb - Another Set (I assume DP3 is here)
March - States
April - Regionals
Late April/Early May - Last Set Before Worlds
May - June - Battle Roads
July - Nats
August - Worlds

But that is just a guess. :thumb:

Why cant POP just replace the 3 Lv.X and Darkrai with something else from later sets?
 
I LOVE it.

Some of the pokemon are so HOT (Lookin at you Venomoth, haven't seen a playable one since Jungle...)

and is it just me or will dialga & palkia lv.x be the ultimate Rogue cards EVER? Nobody will actually play them in archetypes but rogues.. woot
