Wishcash: Good point on the Swampert line. However, I've played 2-1-2 or 2-2-2 without a problem for a month or two. Depends how worried you are about prizing.

I realize that Aerodactyl will be a real problem for this deck as will Bronzong, but I was thinking of what has given me problems in the past.

On other thing about this deck. Using GE Palkia, you can win the game by using transback if your opponent has no benched pokemon. I did this a couple of times--it was sweet!!

I suppose that's true. I am very cautious about things like prizing important pokemon though, so I personally would play 3-x-3 Swampert. Just personal preference and luck, I suppose.

What problems will Bronzong cause?

EDIT: Oh, I was thinking about the attacks and forgot his body. Yes, I suppose it could be problematic, although I don't think it would cause too much hassle.

GE Palkia, while potentially useful, is way too situational. The fact that you can't even use transback until at least turn 3 combined with the fact that even then it requires a coin flip makes it seemingly inferior, as Palkia MD, thanks to its lustrous orb, can ohko magmortar OR magmortar lv. x w/o lake boundary strength charm, etc.

play one palkia GE/DP (the same thing, just different pic) and one palkia MD problem solved.

Daddy shiftry : Thanks for the advice ^_^

I thin i'll leave my swampert line at 3-1-3 and 4 candies. I havent got any strength charm sadly >_< and otherwise there arent any good tool cards in the diamond and pearl expansions in my opinon.

I'm not going to worry about shifty ex and flygon ex (not playing anyone that uses them) Gardevoir shuts down things though which can be quite problematic for me.

I guess the best thing about gardevoir and Aeordactyl MD is using palkia's restructure to drag either of them out and KO them quick (easy on the dactyl with a swampert bashing XD )

I'm also gonna stick to palkia being at 2-2 for the lv.x, he's far too important to be considered a one of, and if he get's prized i'm a bit knackered (and adding island hermits in case he get's prized seems pointless, easier to keep him at 2)

I'm also gonna stick to the 2 MD palkias, The other ones are far too situational in my opinion.

I'll edit my proper deck later and create another decklist underneath to show different strategies with this deck ^_^.

master of puppets : If i had some of those cards i would consider looking into them. I know celio's is good, but i'm not sure if mentor would be good for the deck.

Granted mentor finds 3 basics, roseanne doesnt require a discard and can also nab me an energy in a pinch.

Updating with current list now.

EDIT : Uptaded with a second version, not too sold on it and it's near enough the same as the first, if anything, i'll take out the night maintenances in v.1 and replace them with premier ball ^_^

you need might maintenance and premier ball, and i think with 4 prof. oak's visit, you could drop the pokedex altogether for 2 night maintenance. After all, what do you do when both your palkias are dead?

I see what you mean, I'd rather stick to one or the other rather than both. And i play one copy of suicune for that just in case too (roseanne fetches suicune ane brings back palkia, seems funky to me)
