DS Friend Code Thread

I think I read in the 'Stat guide' that Coconuts occasionally wash up on the beach from time to time... cant verify that, but I think its right??? Also you can only plant Coconuts near the beach.

I am so hacked... was screwing around with my DS a bit ago, and my Mom has a freaking wireless router!!! But it is password incripted, and she may not even know the password... will find out later and post back, she isnt home right now, =(

By the way, I got school on Saturday, so I won't be at the tournament...I might be Sunday, but there is no guarentee. I will try to make make it though, since I have missed the last few.

Met Zapditto today on AC:WW and we had a good time fishing and trading fruits (thanks for the shovel). Also found out something interesting. In the GameCube version, you can order tools from your catalog. Not the case in Wild World. (You can keep the timer Zapditto.)

Vileplume ROCKS: You may want to consider getting AIM, Yahoo, or MSN. Posting everytime you are on your game and want to play Wi-Fi may be seen as spamming and could result in a locked thread (I really don't want that to happen, it would make me mad).

If there are any complaints or worries about this thread, let me know by PM and I will see what I can do to address them. Remember, DO NOT POST any vital information, and if you are under 18, getting your parent's permission isn't always a bad idea (Yeah I know, you get sick of parents looking over your shoulder, but 9 times out of 10, they do know what is best for you).

I recommend that for any questions about Nintendo WiFi, your best chance is to go to nintendowifi.com.

Remember, it is your choice to post your friend code(s) here. Just like it is your choice to add other people's friend codes to your games. Treat other people nicely and they will treat you nicely.

well, we will know about planting coconuts in a couple days, considering I just planted the one that washed up today (before Zapditto showed up). Yes, coconuts wash up on the beach (no island in this game, but you should have figured that out when Kapp'n was driving the taxi. By the way, did anybody notice the song that was playing in the taxi on your way to town? If you are having troubles, go to the wifi website, and/or find a McDonalds close by.

Question or anyone else with @ home connection. DO you have any problems with your game(s) freezing on you? I have this problem constantly now with MKart and it is annoying, usually in the middle of the third or 4th race.

Havent played ACWW enough to notice on it, but no probs so far from it. I also noticed that my conection is stronger when I play ACWW over MKart. I can go anywhere in the house and play ACWW with 3 bars, but only 2-3 rooms away with MKart til I loose a bar or 2.

And to those who have AIM'ed me, dont give up, I am not intentionally ignoring you, I leave my AIM up 24/7 and forget to put up away message before doing non important stuff like sleep or go to work. Vileplume, I will try to be up in the morning tomorrow if you want to AIM me for ACWW...

It will... if you type in the wrong User Name it will correct itself when your game when you play... it even says so as your registering your buds

Dont know about ACWW, just on MKart for sure

I'm on random times, probably when you're all asleep.

@Spectreon: I have a home connection. It works perfectly and never freezes, and neither does my housemates'. Check you've done the setup right. I don't know how much you know about this stuff, but if your network is secured you'll need to add your DS' MAC code to the router's list of allowed access. Although AFAIK it shouldn't work in the first place without that. There's also a possibility you have a router that's not compatible with the DS. There's a list on the Nintendo Wifi site. Let me know if I can help further,

If I go to a Mcdonalds and connect there will I then have a friend code? I havent used Wi- FI yet and i do not have it in my house.
