I agree with Prime here. I think we're set for a huge set. I believe are emerald is maybe like half of their Eidolon Forest and the other half will be combined with GS for our next set.
 
Speculation is good and all, but seriously you guys should chill out a little bit. No matter what set it is, it doesnt matter who's right becuase nintendo already knows what they are releasing, and arguing cant help that. -_-
 
When 28 cards of a set are focused around 1 card (Unown), I think it is safe to assume that the set "revolves" around that theme. GSSS in japan has 28 Unowns. If this is our GSSS set, then the title isn't so bad. Plus, Lugia and Ho-oh are pokes with mysterious or "unseen forces" as part of their abilities. Just my 2 cents worth of speculation.

Maybe it is GSSS, and Nintendo is just trying to stay away from those cheap unoriginal names (RS, FRLG, DX, EM).
 
just a thought, they say the new pokemon game cube game is due in october, so as the game has lugia as main focus would it not be logical for them to hold back a set with lugia in like they did with emerald? jus ma opinion but i dnt think G/S is our next set

maybe Nintendo/PUI decided to come up with the most mysterious name possible, just so they could watch us wracking our brains trying to figure out what it all means.

Would Unowns be concidered 'unseen forces,' or would this more likely revolve around Mew-ex, Lukario, and the Alakazam family.

Right now both seem equally plausible.
 
Maybe we will see a new Gengar and Dusclops Ex would have gone well with this name.

That is a very good point. This set comes out in August, I believe, and if Pokemon XD is to come out in late October, it would be logical for the GS/SS set to come out before/after it (since the set after this one would be scheduled to come out in November, then I guess it would be after).
 
From the pictures of the wrapper, there seems to be another Shiftry in there and another Breloom. Most likely both will be EX's as we have many that aren't. Hmm Shiftry EX. I'd like that a lot.
 
Wait, do you think he is talking about a wrapper of the actual American set? Because I think he is talking about the Mew set.
 
August? Is there anything special going on around then that would make for a good pre-release tourney? Hmmm....

How does one get into E3? I thought you had to be in the gaming industry (or media)? Is this true?
 
As I recall, you either have to be in the media (with whatever legal registration to be concidered a "Legit" media source), or you can just buy a ticket, which is like $250 or something. This memory is a few years old, though, so there may be inaccuracies.
