Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

European Worlds Rating Invites 2009 - Countdown to June 7th!

Again? You mean his invite passed down to 5th place from France? Because I don't believe you can give away invites as you please.

I'm fairly sure his invite still stands, perhaps his trip just passed down?

It happens the same that happened last year with Vakarelov.

I will explain:

Vakarelov's father is portuguese/russian (it's Victor Pinto a Masters player) and his mother is bulgarian. But Vakarelov only has bulgarian nationality, and it's complicated for him to get a visa for USA.
Why does he hasn't also portuguese double-nationality that will allow him to travel easy to USA? Because in Bulgaria it's impossible to herit of lands if we have another nationality than bulgarian. So until his majority, it will be always complicated for him to go at Worlds.

So automaticaly Nikola Vakarelov gives up the Invitation+Travel that it's automaticaly gived to the France National finalist -> Antoine Phomma european ranked 65.

Ok, I understand. But surely that doesn't mean that he now gets an invite through the rankings? I mean, I do believe that means that his invite passes down in the European rankings, too. I believe that's what happened last year.

fireborn.... any chances of you updating the masters category??

Like I said before, in post 32, I had to leave for a meeting. I'm back now, and I'll update the Masters. A little patience would be nice, I do have other obligations apart from Pokemon sometimes ;)

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Updated the Masters.

Can anyone comfirm my idea that the 2 German NOIR players changed to NOIR because they won't be using their invite anyway?

right! The german players changed to NOIR, because they can´t fly.

No it passes to the 2nd at National ;). It was like that last year, and 2 years ago too.

Ok, that's what I thought ;) But I still believe that he doesn't get an invite through rankings now, and then for the ranking it counts as if he has an "invite" from Nationals. It's just the trip that passes down in France, which is understandable. Pity for him that he can't go to Worlds, even though he's clearly the best Senior player in France.

As far as I know, the trip of Nikola will go to the second but the invite will not be given to the 5th.
I ask a confirmation to PUI anyways.

Great job Anna, your topic is really interesting :thumb:

36 Elliott T. 1763.54 France
37 Kylie C. 1761.88 Great Britain
38 Victor P. 1760.76 France
39 Matthias L. 1758.93 Germany

If somebody knows these people, please contact them and ask if they are planning to go to worlds and about the NOIR facts.

Guys don´t forget the ranking cut is only in few days!

So please players they decide they won´t use their invites changed to NOIR. Thanks a lot!

Italy and Fin still Pending?!
Did anyone know when finnland and italy will be uploaded?

Italian National is up

Alessio P, Matteo L. and Lorenzo P. (Master) already have invite.

Alberto M. Andrea C. and Pheraps even Sergio L. could turn into NOIR

I'm Marco Escher, and I think I'm going to Worlds. I just need to talk to my family and settle everything up :D

In case something should go wrong (hope not ^^), I'll turn into NOIR :)

seniors changes

3rd place person from Germany has changed status out of NOIR to in rankings, not sure if you spotted it. I hope they did qualify via Nats.
